Mouse Birthday Card
This Mouse Birthday Card was made to play along at the Day One Catch The Bug 11th Birthday Bash. The theme this year is Woodland Friends, so I used the Mouse Big Balloon digi by Bugaboo. Copic markers were used to color the image and then I used a stitched rectangle die to cut it out. All patterened papers are from the Happy Birthday paper pad by Echo Park (2017). Three red stars were added for detail and the birthday sentiment stamp is from the retired Bonanza Buddies stamp set by Stampin' Up!. That's it and thanks for stopping by.

After the Rain Card
During the week our local weather teams have worked extra hard to keep us safe and stayed on the air during tornado warnings for hours. I made this After the Rain Card thinking about sending it to our favorite Chief Meteorologist Dan Threlkeld and his team at Channel 8 as a thank you card. The image is called Umbrella Mouse by Bugaboo Stamps and it was colored with Copic markers. All papers are by Authentique from the Refreshed Collection (2018) and some stitching was added for detail. Some Nuvo drops were added to the umbrella and sequins added for sparkle. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day.

Use Yellow at Crafty Catz
A miss you sentiment seemed appropriate for this image and this one by Hampton Arts (Jillibean Soup Handwritten Sentiments) had never been used. All patterned papers are from the For The Record 2 paper pad by Echo Park (2012). To color the image Copic markers were used and then it was die cut with a stitched circle die by My Favorite Things. A little stamped and punched yellow butterfly was added along with three glimmer dots and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful rest of your day.

Coffee Making me Awesome Card
This COFFEE is making me AWESOME!!! In some ways this sentiment defines me, I'm like the little mouse until the coffee kicks in. Another thought...Wheaties may be the breakfast of champions but I bet if you follow it with a few cups of coffee... you would be unstoppable.
There is still a couple of days left to join the fun with the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. This is my second card for the hop and I used the challenge colours at ColourQ to make this card. The colours include: Early Espresso, Kraft, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise and White. The image is called Colby's Caffeine by Whipper Snapper Designs, Inc. It was stamped onto several pieces of paper and paper pieced together. Warm Gray Copic markers were used to colour the mouse. The sentiment is also by Whipper Snapper Designs, Inc and was stamped with Memento black ink. Due to the large size of the image I kept the layout simple and added three brown sequins for sparkle. That's it!

Enjoy Your Summer Card
I have a quick post to share the card I made using this months image for the progressive challenge from Gerda Steiner Designs. The image is called Mouse with Drink and my mouse is drinking lemonade. The card base was a freebie I got from the local scrapbook store last year. I did the yellow stamping and sentiment while at the store during a demonstration, but I never completed the intended project. So, I have rescued it and made this Enjoy Your Summer Card. The image was colored with Copic markers and cut into an oval shape to fit inside the scalloped die cut. To add a little more interest I used a pretty floral paper from my scrap bin on both edges. That's it!
This card is entered into the following challenges:
- Gerda Steiner Designs: May Progressive
- Crafting with Dragonflies: Animals
- Crafty Friends: Summer Time

Flower Mouse For You Card
For Mother's Day I usually send my aunts a card and this one is for my aunt who lives in Arizona. The layout is from Sketch Saturday #380, click here for the original post from September of 2015. I had fun mixing patterned papers from different paper stacks. The image is by Bugaboo Digi Stamps and it's called Mouse - Big Flower and it was colored with Copic markers. Three sequins were added and then I went crazy with the glue and some white loose glitter for a little extra sparkle (it looks better in person). Finding the perfect size sentiment was a little challenging but the For You sentiment from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set by Stampin' Up! worked perfectly. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!
This Flower Mouse For You Card is entered into the following challenges:
- Sketch Saturday: Choose Archive Sketch
- Lil Patch of Crafty Friends: Anything Goes
- Challenge Up Your Life: Critters

Watercolor All Occasion Card
This afternoon my goal was to make a cute all occasion card. I knew I wanted to do a little watercoloring and use a new to me stamp by Penny Black called So Kind. The image is large, so I finished the scene by adding a die cut tree branch which helped fill in the top portion of the card. After the main panel was complete it was adhered to a piece of Pool Party cardstock. That's it!
I'm entering this Watercolor All Occasion Card into the following challenges:
- Tuesday Throwdown: Furry Friends
- 4 Crafty Chicks: Scenic
- Make My Monday: Watercolor
- Crafting With An Attitude: Anything Goes
