Star Frame Good Job Card

Good day crafty friends! I hope you will play along with our challenge this week at Tuesday Throwdown. The theme is called Frame It! Our sponsor is MyGrafico and they provided the design team with some digital frames for our creations. I used this fun star frame to make a Good Job Card. We would love to see what you come up with for the Frame It! Challenge. You have until mid-day on Monday March 7th to link your creation. Click here for all the challenge details and to view the design team inspiration.

To make this Star Frame Good Job Card, the star had to be larger to fit the Good Job sentiment by Stampology. So, I made a 5.25" square card. All papers are from my scrap bin and I added some pink twine from The Twinery. Three sequins and three candy dots were added for detail and this card was done. Thanks for stopping by!

Music Good Job Card

Hello! This year I'm only making cards with a purpose. Yesterday I mailed off 16 Valentine's Day Cards for the Cards From the Heart Card Drive. Last night I made this Music Good Job Card for my niece who performed in a choir concert last Friday. It feels good to make cards you know someone will enjoy.

To create this Music Good Job Card I've used a sketch from The Paper Players Challenge. The sketch was perfect to fit the larger Good Job sentiment by Stampology into a circle. I used a stitched circle die by My Favorite Things along with my Big Shot. The You Rock sentiment was created using the Crazy About You stamp set by Stampin' Up! I used the color red for my niece's school colors. The red patterned papers are by Authentique and the music note paper is from The Paper Studio. For some sparkle and detail three gold sequins were added and that's it!

A lot of my time lately has been spent sewing! This Peanuts Blanket is my latest project and I've made baby burp cloths to match.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Neon Good Job Card

Okay.... I really should be studying so this is going to be a really quick post! Here is my Neon Good Job Card that I made combining the following fabulous challenges:
To create this Neon Good Job Card I heat embossed the polka dots and sentiment with neon Zing! embossing powder. Black is a wonderful contrast to neon colors and I added black twine to add a little more interest. This card will end up going to one of my nieces. Thanks for stopping by and have a terrific Friday night!

Handmade Good Job Cards

Many kids will soon be on summer break.  That means their parents will receive their final report cards for the school year.  If your daughter or son did a good job let them know you're proud of them with  handmade good job cards.  Kids need encouragement and this is a great way to let them know you acknowledge their accomplishments.

For this card pick two coordinating patterned papers with stars, confetti, or something fun your child likes and follow the good job card directions.

Handmade Good Job Card Directions:
  1. Make card from cardstock or use ready made card.
  2. Trim patterned paper and adhere.
  3. Adhere Recollections glitter tape strip, (you can buy this a Michaels).
  4. Stamp sentiment (Good Job stamp from the Stampology collection by Autumn Leaves), use corner rounder punch, ink edges, layer, and adhere.
  5. Adhere rhinestone.
