Tangerine Flower Hello Card

Happy Friday! Today I have a fun bright card to share with you. I was immediately intrigued with the colors from the challenge at Create with Connie and Mary to use: Cucumber Crush, Pacific Point and Tangerine Tango. These colors are very happy together and I thought they would make a nice Hello Card. This Tangerine Flower Hello Card is also entered into the Bright and Beautiful challenge at Crafting for all Seasons.

Sometimes when working with three bold colors I find it easier to keep the layout simple so the colors can really shine. I used a fun patterned paper that wasn't too busy. Then decided to use the tangerine flower for a pop of color and silver sequin ribbon for some sparkle. So even though the layout is simple it's definitely not a boring card.

All supplies used are by Stampin' Up! and they include:
  • Paper: Whisper White, Cucumber Crush and Pacific Point cardstock. Patterned paper from Pretty Petals paper stack.
  • Stamps: Flowering Flourishes, Petal Potpourri and Watercolor Wishes.
  • Inks: Stampin' Pads in Cucumber Crush, Pacific Point and Tangerine Tango.
  • Other Stuff: Flower Medallion punch, silver sequin ribbon, Tangerine Tango candy dot, large scallop edgelit and stampin' dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Red Flower Hello Card

Hello and Happy Friday! I hope you have an extra day off this week in honor of the Fourth of July. My hubby is off with me today and we are planning to do a few fun things around town. :)

The Red Flower Hello Card I'm sharing with you today was created using the color challenge CCMC362 at Create with Connie & Mary. The colors are: Real Red, Lost Lagoon or Crumb Cake/Kraft. I started by searching through some of my stash of discarded ideas and I found the woodgrain oval. It had already been whitewashed with Craft ink and looked like a nice focal piece. Then I searched through my patterned papers for the challenge colors. The Lost Lagoon is from the All Abloom paper stack and the sponged background paper is from the Irresistibly Yours specialty paper. I've used a lot of retired products on this card but I love mixing the old and new. The stamps sets used are Petal Potpourri and Perfect Pennants. The final touches were adding the silver brad in the middle of the flower and three silver sequins. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and have a happy and safe holiday weekend!

Red Flower Thanks Card

Okay, I'm running out of creative names for my blog post titles. So here it is a Red Flower Thanks Card. I made this card using the colors from The Paper Players challenge to use Real Red, Pool Party and Island Indigo. The layout is from the lunchtime sketch TSSC365 at Technostamper and I'm also entering this card into the Craft Your Passion anything goes challenge. Most of the supplies for this card are by Stampin' Up! except for the Dot Fade stencil by Tim Holtz. Here is the supply list: Base card in Pool Party, Whisper White, Island Indigo and Pool Party cardstock, stampin' pads in Pool Party, Island Indigo and Real Red. Petal Potpourri, Another Thank You and Bohemian Borders stamp sets. The Flower Medallion punch and a sponge dauber. That's it! I appreciate you stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!!!
