Snowman Card with Pink

Good day! After the hot summer here in Oklahoma I'm definitely ready for snow. We don't get a lot of snow, usually enough to cover the ground and make driving difficult, but I love watching it fall.

 For this Snowman Card with Pink I used the Feeling Frosty stamp and die sets by Sunny Studio Stamps. The background trees were stenciled with the Sunny Studio Forest Trees stencil using tumbled glass distress ink. While making this card I made several little "oops", so I used the saying by Bob Ross "We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents." To cover my happy little accident I added snowflakes to the four corners of the card. I had made a small rip in one corner of the pink frame and it was driving me crazy, but now you would never know it's there. Everything was adhered flat and that's it. Autumn Season Card - TMS #573

 

Hooray! Today is the first day of Autumn/Fall here in the US and that makes me very happy. There are a few trees in our neighborhood that are already starting to change color. We usually end up with lots of leaves in our yard but that's okay. I'll just be glad when we no longer have to mow the lawn!!!🍁

Beautiful Day Card

Hope you're having a Beautiful Day! Since Mother's Day will be here in a few weeks, I decided to start making a few card options. I recently purchased the new Cheerful Daisies stamp set by Sunny Studio Stamps and decided to use it to create this Beautiful Day Card. It was a lot of fun stamping all the images once I found the ink colors I wanted to use. The flower colors were inspired by a Gerber Daisy plant I rescued last year. Ink colors include: Guava by Lawn Fawn, Flirty Flamingo by Stampin' Up!, Sunflower by Lawn Fawn, Crushed Curry by Stampin' Up!, Jalapeno by Lawn Fawn and Call Me Clover by Stampin' Up!. The sentiment stamp is from the WPlus 9 Doodle Buds stamp set and the lattice background is from a Sunny Studio die called Frilly Frames Lattice. A little butterfly was added for extra detail and everything was adhered flat for easy shipping.
