2026: TapeRunner With Pink & Main Foil [Card #142]

Hello again, sweet friends!
#SAVfact (I think this is true... I will have to keep an eye on this to make sure! LOL!): I believe I match my TapeRunner adhesive to my projectsπŸ˜‚

Here's a TapeRunner adhesive fact: this adhesive holds strong with just about ANY paper or cardstock! I've used all the different TapeRunner adhesive on the following:
  • regular paper
  • regular cardstock
  • patterned paper
  • embossed paper
  • EVO synthetic paper
  • vellum
  • tissue paper
  • and NOW.... foiled paper
I love my TapeRunner adhesive! I use it on ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL of my projects! And I'm not worried about it failing to hold strong!!! What I am worried about is that I need to get more because I'm running out- I have FOMO on my FAV adhesive! LOL!
Back to my project... This card was super easy to make! Follow these EASY steps to recreate this card:
  1. Use Pink & Main Mini Minc and cheerfoil to create background- my FAV backgrounds are the Prism designs!
  2. Use TR adhesive to attach foiled background to cardbase
  3. Stamp sentiment on strip of paper and attach to cardbase on the diagonal using TR adhesive
  4. Stamp and color images, add glitter for extra glam
  5. Add TR adhesive to the center of the images and attach to cardbase; *optional- add a foam dot to each side of dragonfly wings to make it pop
  6. Finish with a few embellishments

You can see the dimension I created by adhering the CENTER of the bodies using TR adhesive and then adding a foam dot for extra height!

EASY!

**Don't forget to SAVE by entering SAVANNAH10 at checkout on TaperRunner.comπŸ€‘

That's it for me today. I hope that you will try some TR adhesive on ALL of your projects and on EVERY paper that you own! Let me know how strong the hold is- I know you won't be disappointed!

2026: TapeRunner One Layer Birthday Card [Card #128]

Hello again, sweet friends!
Today I'm sharing a ONE layer card that I created for a friend's birthday.

Now--- one layer cards should be easy to make: cut paper, add to cardbase, done. And there is nothing wrong with that... but I like to add a bit more! I wanted to ink the background but leave the image alone so I could color it... and then I wanted to add a bit of glitter... and I needed a sentiment... THEN I could add this panel to the cardbase πŸ˜‚

Here are a few steps that I did to create this card:
I probably spent 30 mins trying to figure out what colors I wanted to use for the base... and in the end, I didn't use two of the colors and cut off one more so the base would fit the card size! LOL!
I masked the image so I could create a blended background... what I didn't realize was that there would be a white outline around my image because the die cut is a tad bit bigger than the image itself 🀦🏼‍♀️ I was shocked and wondered what I would do to fix this... but in the end... I really liked how this turned out:)
This is the final step of creating this one layer card- stamping the sentiment and adding it to my cardbase using TapeRunner adhesive. Now that was EASY
This card was kind of easy to make but super scary too because I don't normally do cards like this!
Scary because one coloring or ink blending mistake and I'd have to start over!
Scary because I didn't know (or realize) my mask would leave a white border!
EASY because I can trust my TapeRunner adhesive to stick strong and make this card last!!!

2026: Playing in the Studio

Hello again, sweet friends!
Do you ever just play around in your craft studio?

Playing around and mixing and matching alllllll kind of companies/supplies is one of my FAVORITE things to do!

Why? Because I am free to just create.
Because I don't have an agenda or project deadline.
Because I can play with color stories.
Because I can use supplies that I bought YEARS ago that I never had time for before! LOL!

You can read MORE about this card on my IG page HERE

That's it for me today. I hope that you will play in your studio today- be sure to share with me so I can leave some love for you!!!

2026: Custom Birthday Card [card #76]

Hello again, sweet friends!
I was recently asked to make a custom birthday card for my neighbor's son. She gave a few things that might inspire me: a sport's team/colors, blue crabs, boating, green/blue, and fishing.

After discussing with her my ideas and what I could do using my supplies... we landed on a fishing theme. She then sent me a photo of her son fishing (one where he had just caught a catfish), and I knew we chose the right theme!
The best part about this card is that my mom helped me create it! This card was due while she was visiting so I pulled her into my studio to help get inky, die cut, and kind of be my sous chef/crafter! Hopefully she had fun making this with me;)

That's it for me today.

2026: TapeRunner Retractable Adhesive + Foiled Birthday Card [card #075]

Hello again, sweet friends!

πŸ’Έ Don't forget to use code SAVANNAH10 for 10% off at TapeRunner!!!!!
This SHINY birthday card was SOOOOOOOOOOOO easy to make! But, first, let me share the backstory...

Backstory: The other day I stayed with my friend's mom for some time so that she could run some errands. My friend requested that I bring over some cardmaking supplies so she and her mom could make a birthday card for her brother. Since they were new to cardmaking, I brought my Pink & Main foiling supplies- foiling is the EASIEST way to make cards:) Well, my friend, Renee, made a card... and of course I didn't throw away ANY of the scraps because I wanted to use them to make a similar birthday card. And that's how I came up with this card design- from scraps;)

Here's a photo of my friend Renee with her card. It's CAS and perfect! **And doesn't her NEW hair style look gooooood!!?!
**Be sure to stop by my IG feed and stories later today/tomorrow to see a quick video of Renee's Mom, Betty, doing a reveal of another foiled image!

Here's a quick tutorial on how I made my card using TapeRunner retractable adhesive
**I'm an OVERadhesive-er!!! And it's easy with this TR retractable adhesive because it glides sooooooooo smooth!
It's that easy- 6 steps to make a SHINY birthday card! I love it! And I looooooooooooooove using scraps on my cards!!!
That's it for me today. I'll be sharing MORE on my IG feed so be sure to stop by there!!!

2026: Trav's 46th birthday- MORE greens and irons

Hello again, sweet friends!
We celebrated Trav's 46th birthday last week and this was his card that I created.

I wanted a CAS card... but one that had a whole bunch of greens on it. I also wanted a sentiment that was true for his age but also for golf.
I think this turned out AWESOME! Trav even pointed out that there are 18 greens on the card (if you count even the little slivers at the top! LOL! I must know what I am doing when it comes to golf! LOL!).

That's it for me today.

2026: Fun Birthday Card [card #023-024]

Hello again, sweet friends!
Check out this super cute birthday card!!!

If you know me, then you know that I use that birthday background stamp A LOT! I also have a bin specifically for birthday designs- it is FILLED with Pink & Main stamps/dies/stencils!
I love how this card turned out!
I did take a separate photo with a different photo background- Trav created this wood floor background for my masculine cards. I am not sure how to take photos with it yet as it makes the photos a bit too "bright". LOL! I will work on that:)

That's it for me today.

2025: Belated Birthday Card [card #302]

Hello again, sweet friends!

As I've said before... I am always late when sending cards out! LOL This time I have a really good excuse thoughπŸ˜‚
Q: What do you do when you are EXTREMELY late sending a birthday card?

A: You make it SHINE!!!!!!!!

And that's what I did for this birthday card for Michelle, the owner of Pink & Main! I added foil using the regular techniques with the Mini Minc machine, as well as highlight foiling (see center panel), and painting reactive mist to images to get even MORE shine!
I know I am really late (like 35 days late)... but...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Michelle

That's it for me today.

2024: August Birthday card using Spellbinders' Florals Through the Year collection [card #305]

Hello, sweet friends!
I'm back with sharing my absolute FAVORITE Spellbinders Florals Through the Year collection creation-- it's another birthday card but with lots of dimension since I fussy cut that poppy flower out multiple times!!! Be sure to check out my other ideas for these BP plates and collection HERE!!!
This card is my favorite because:
  • I used my birth flower Press Plates
  • The colors are super pretty together
  • I used my FAVORITE technique- fussy cutting
Here's how I got to the dimension for this card... I pressed this image multiple times on the cardbase, and it didn't look good! LOL! My greens and reds were mixing too much. So I pressed the image again to fussy cut and add as layers. The PERFECT fix!

I also added a bit of black accent dots to the center of each poppy to make it have more oomph... I think it was the PERFECT touch!!!

See why this is my favorite??? I love it for all of these reasons and because I was able to save it from all my mistakes:)

That's it for me today. Be sure to stop by the Spellbinders' blog and website for their AWESOME sales!!!

2024: November Birthday card using Spellbinders' Florals Through the Year collection [card #304]

Hello, sweet friends!
I'm back with sharing another Spellbinders Florals Through the Year collection creation-- this time I went with a birthday card design! Be sure to check out my other ideas for these BP plates and collection HERE!!!
My second card I tried something different... I wanted to make a ONE LAYER card. I've created one layer cards before... BUT they never turn out how I want them to! LOL! I just don't do well with one layer... however, I think this card turned out 85% awesome (more on this later)!

What I'm proud of with this card is that oval inked background!!! I didn't have any SB oval die cut images... so I made my own using the Make A Wish Arch Labels dies. All I did was partially die cut the arch, flipped it, and partially die cut it again to match where I had already die cut. So easy! And I think that inked oval background really makes this one layer card pop!!

Now here's where I messed up: I struggled with my ink blending because I thought there was one spot that needed a bit more aqua green ink... so AFTER I took off the flower mask... I inked the "white spot"... only to muddy the pink flower πŸ€¦πŸΌ‍♀️ I added some sequins to cover it up so it all worked out! LOL! **supplies listed below

I have one more project to share, and it's my FAVORITE!!! Be sure to come back for MORE!!!

That's it for me today. Be sure to stop by the Spellbinders' blog and website for their AWESOME sales!!!

2024: March card using Spellbinders' Florals Through the Year collection [card #302-303]

Hello, sweet friends!
I'm super excited to join Spellbinders and their release of the Florals Through the Year collection--- there are soooooooo many things you can do with this set:
  • Yearly calendar
  • Birthday cards
  • Sympathy cards
  • Anniversary cards
  • Thinking of you cards
  • and MORE!!!!
And the great thing about these BetterPress plates is that you can make one layer cards by inking or add dimension by fussy cutting the image out!!!

Plus--- there's more!! This collection released an easel die that you can use for your yearly calendar... taking photos of your creations... or holding your phone!!! What an awesome release!

For my first project, I wanted to create something different... sure I could make a calendar or birthday card... but I wanted to make something that I could use for just about anything during the month of March. This card is perfect for encouragement, a quick hello, or thinking of you, and it's perfect for ANYONE!

I pressed the image with multiple colors on watercolor paper and then added it to a die cut Kraft cardbase. I added some string and sequins to finish this simple design. PERFECT! **supplies listed below
I have two more projects to share!!! Be sure to come back for MORE!!!

That's it for me today. Be sure to stop by the Spellbinders' blog and website for their AWESOME sales!!!

2022: Unicorn Birthday [card #105]

Hello again, sweet friends!

I’m back with another quick post and yet a very detailed card! LOL
I was asked to create a birthday card for a sweet young lady who loved unicorns. I knew immediately that I needed to use my Paper Smooches unicorn image (retired)— it’s perfect! I also knew I wanted rainbow colors and a bit of glitter. I loved how this custom card turned out so much that I created three more with pink backgrounds. πŸ™ƒ
That's it for me today but don’t worry! I’ll be back tomorrow with another rainbow card (using alcohol inks) ANNNNNNNND later this week I will share some of my Technique Tuesday creations! I can’t wait to show you everything I’ve made:)

THANKS so much for stopping by!

NEW Paper Smooches challenge- November 2015

Hello, friends:}

Today we start the NEW Paper Smooches monthly challenge. The challenge for November is...... GOLD

I've got at least 10 different designs that I will be sharing throughout the month of November (that's if I have enough energy after our trip to Paris this week to create them all! LOL!).

The challenge is to incorporate GOLD somewhere on your project (glitter, embossing, gold paper, jewelry, etc).
For this card, I created an inlaid die cut sentiment (Paper Smooches Quote Tags and Kudos Words die sets) using textured gold paper. I used my ICT Radiant Neon and Memento inks to watercolor a Blossoming Buds image on vellum paper. This was actually a simple card to create and yet it has to much detail--- LOVE
That's it for me today! I hope you will join in the fun--- you could win a $50 gift certificate to the PS store!!! Be sure to stop by HERE to link up and to play along!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}
