The Thankful Tree

http://prettyprovidence.com/the-thankful-tree/

As parents, we're trying very hard to teach our son to be grateful for the things he has, and not always be demanding more. One way to reinforce that, especially during this holiday season, is to have something visual to remind us of the things we're grateful for. I love the idea that Pretty Providence used in having a tree like this where we can write something each day!

Can I Feature Every Post?

What is going on this week? There are 100 posts I could feature!!! Here are some unique and fun posts to check out!!!
.
Tracy Trinkets and Treasures spray painted some hardbound books. They look FABULOUS! Books with texture would look so cool being spray painted!

This is a great technique to know. The Other White House shows how to make leaves become just their skeleton! Think of the possibilities with 100's of leaf skeletons!!!

Ashley's Thrifty Living has such a fun way to frame pictures. She made this sunglass picture display for her sister!

I love acorns and these pom-pom acorn are so easy! Thanks Lets Go Fly A Kite.

Scene of the Grime has some rockstar pumpkins. They are metallic pumpkins!

I thought I had seen everything chalkboard UNTIL I saw these chalkboard rings at Greenbean Crafterole. How Cool!
.

I get quite a few submissions, and unfortunately, I'm not able to feature all of them. So today, I am highlighting a some submissions I have received in the past week. Thanks for everyone who submits ideas. I hope I don't offend when I can't show your projects off. That is one of the main reasons I have link parties!!!

There are SO MANY items you can create using cupboard doors (and they all turn out beautiful!) Super Saturday Crafts And More madeover this cupboard door into a sign/keychain holder. Lovely!

With fall around the corner, a leaf mobile is perfect for inside your house! Homework :Be Inspired created these leafs using fabric! They won't crumble to pieces! Darling!
What a fun, flowery necklace this is. I Heart Jenny's Art made it out of scraps!

I don't show many room remodels, but I looking at before and afters! This is a great bathroom makeover! See it at The Little Brown House.

Stop your mouth from watering. These are not as they appear. Suzy's Artsy-Crafty Sitcom created this box of chocolate pin cushions! Seriously, a yummy idea! Very creative!

Fall Balls and Other Round Decor

I found these ideas a week ago and am just getting aroung to post them. Watch out! They are beautiful!
These are my favorite kind of "balls" because you can eat part of them. They are beautiful and edible! Visit All You to see more about making some of these for your home HERE.
This is such a fun idea! To learn how to make a fall kissing ball out of a tennis ball go HERE. You must see more of this at Craftaholic Anonymous.

These unique 'balls' are made from faux fall leaves pinned to a foam sphere. Learn how to make these HERE. Darling!!! Head over to Sullivan and Murphy to see more pictures of how these balls are used to decorate a table. LOVE IT!!!

These yarn balls with felt mums looks so fun in a bowl. I've seen yarn balls before, but never as beautiful as these. Find how to make these yarn balls HERE at Samster Mommy.
This isn't a 'ball,' but it is somewhat round. I just think it is adorable and festive. PK at Room Remix calls it a daisykin. See how these are silk flowers glued to a pumpkin HERE. You gotta love this project.
I wish I would have seen this candy corn wreath when I did a candy corn post! So beautiful and festive and round. Perfect for the saying "EYE CANDY"! This idea is brought to you by Ducks In A Row. Wow! This is one of the most unique pumpkin ideas I have seen yet! Create a pmupkin from different size fabric yo-yos. You could even use different fabrics for a fun look too.
