Eggs and Nest Spring Mantel

I'm drooling over this spring mantel at Craftberry Bush! It's gorgeous. The white on white with little touches of blue is so pretty. The framed faux eggs and shadowboxes are beautiful. You've got to go over to this post to check out how the faux eggs were made and see all the pictures of the spring decor!

Bird Nest Specimen Art

Specimen art is one of the trends going around. This bird nest specimen art made of burlap is ridiculously fantastic! They look like rosettes, but with the addition of the bird eggs, they look like nests. LOVE IT! Midwestern Sewing Girl has this beauty on her blog.

Primitive Spring Apothecary Jars

I knew nests in apothecary jars would "spring" up this time of the year! I saw these one at A Diamond In The Stuff. You know what I love about these apothecary jars? They are made out of mason jars (candlesticks and a finial)!!! Totally cool for a low budget craft.

Cloche Nest

With it officially being Spring on Sunday, we can all start decorating with our spring decor. How about making a faux bird's nest in a cloche like The Cellar Door Stories! The cloche was formerly a cheese dome. It oh so easy and adorable.

4 Reader's Submissions

.
I get a lot of submission for awesome projects. I love it and I hate it. I love it because there is no way I can view all the amazing blogs, ideas and projects out there. I hate it because I can't possibly feature them all and I feel badly about that.
.
Here are a few of the submissions I've received lately.
.
Turn those plastic Easter eggs into beautiful speckled eggs for your spring decor. See how The V-Spot made these faux robin's eggs.

It's not too late to make a Lucky in Love shirt for you or a little one using this idea from My Own Road. Or you can save this idea for next year!

Born Again Crafter created this awesome wreath using old book pages. It only cost her $.45 to make! What a steal. See the book page wreath.

HoneyBear Lane turned an inexpensive store-bought clock into a Crate and Barrel knock-off clock. Love the colors and the big numbers.

Isn't Spring wonderful? It means 'Spring Break' to many of us with kids or those of us who work in schools. I officially (but only partially) am on Spring Break!!! Gotta love a few days away from work to spend some quality time being crazy with the kids!

Let's see just a few Spring projects (since I am on Spring break!)
Such a simple, yet mossy Spring centerpiece. Find this at Reinvented. Go HERE.
Of course, Spring is the beginning of flowers. Don't you love this zipper flower necklace at Gettin' Crafty? Go HERE.
Few things say Spring like robin eggs. This display got the most views last week at the Nest CC Show. See it at Mad In Craft. GO HERE!

A turquoise bird house with a nest! Oh how lovely!!! Cheap Like A Birdie created this masterpiece HERE.

We have to have a Spring wreath in this post. This one by Domestic Princess in Training has so much that says "Spring." A nest, greens, little blossoms! See it HERE.
We probably should have two wreaths actually. Butterflies are definitely a sign that Spring has arrived. I can't wait to see some fluttering around SOON! Bits of Me has the butterfly wreath. Go HERE.

Happy Tuesday!! Ok Ok I know...don't curse me!! Here are some more of the posts from last week's two different parties that made our little hearts go pitter patter!

These are the cutiest Nesting Frames frames, aren't they!! They came from Monkey See- Monkey Do make sure you go and check her out!! Great ideas there!!

Next comes the cutest shirts for a little guy! I just love them!! Go check them out at Sew Can Do. I am pretty sure that Chick Magnet is my fave but Bunny Hop is so stinking cute!! Go HERE to see them both and you decide!

Did you see this "Cork" Board? I love it!! I just need to figure out how to get all of those corks without drinking all the wine! Check out Katie Stasiak Photography, she has beautiful pictures also! Go HERE!

This Bathroom Makeover is really cute, my favorite part, the COLOR!! I go nuts for that color of green! Isn't it just fun! Not to overpowering for a small area like the bathroom, but it totally get's your attention! Go to seeTHIS and more at Trapped Between a Scream and A Hug. And can I just say that her blog name is me almost every day!!!

I love mirrors...and living in small places (or for any other reason) they just make everything POP! Check out this ordinary mirror made so much more EXTRAordinary!! See this and other great projects HERE at Show and Tell! The bathroom is just beautiful!! I even loved the before pictures!!

Living in the cold cold west, THIS was a necessity for my little guy! I am also pretty sure it kept him healthier than our daughter since everyone stopped to say how cute she was and breathed all over the poor infant!! Our carseat tent shielded him from the onlookers, see how to make aCarseat Cover (tent) for your little sweetheart at Craft Affection.
Tomorrow will be another Whatever Goes Wednesday! We hope you enjoy it and can't wait to see what you come up with in this weeks installment of Whatever Goes Wednesday!!

How are you setting your table for Easter? Maybe you could include nests or napkins folded as such as part of the tablescape. See how to do this HERE at Under The Table and Dreaming.

And I must also include edible nests! This nest almost looks too cute to eat, but you can't let chocolate go to waste. Thanks to Under the Table and Dreaming for an excuse to eat more chocolate. Go HERE.
