Barksdale Blessings used balloons and confetti to make a gender reveal announcement. We're finding out (hopefully) on Thursday what our little twinners are, so something like this might just be so fun!

.Thanks to everyone who participated in my party yesterday. I thought it was a lot of fun. I've yet to see a blog Gender Reveal Party so I hope that I've started a new trend for some of you who see a baby in your future!.

HEALTHY baby!
.Having been a Special Education teacher, I know some of the things that can be "wrong" with babies that can be picked up at an ultrasound. Spina Bifida, Cleft palate, heart defects, etc. I was paranoid with my first two babies that something might be "wrong" and relieved when I was told they were healthy!
.So this baby I decided not to worry about those things and it was really nice to just relax. Everything physically looks great with my fetus!
.Ok! I've teased long enough.

That little guy gets to look forward to siblings that LOVE to get dirty and play crazy!

My son and husband are so excited. Cooper keeps telling people, "I'm getting a baby brover." And of course, Cadence and I are thrilled too. I just had it in my mind that I was going to break out the bows and headbands and lace and ruffles and pink. And my husband won't let me do that now!!!!.

Today is the "big day." The Gender Reveal Party for my new baby!!!

Today, I will give you some info about my past two pregnancies and this pregnancy so you can make an informed decision when casting your guess!

I will also show the prizes available for the winners.

At the bottom, you can link up your blog to the corresponding gender, get a little free promotion of your blog and visit with other guests.

Tomorrow (Saturday), I will announce the winners and their corresponding prizes. I will also announce the gender of my new little baby!!!

Background information:
1. First pregnancy - GIRL, 2nd sickest pregnancy

2. Second pregnancy - BOY, best pregnancy of the three, though I was still sick.

3. THIRD Pregnancy - ? - By far, the worst pregnancy. Sicker than sick!!!

Announcing My BABY Gender Reveal Party!!!!

.I've had so many kind people ask me since I announced my pregnancy a few weeks ago how I was feeling. This has been the worst of the my three pregnancies so far! A LOT of puke, gagging, exhaustion and body blah for 3 months!!!! Is it that I am older and wimpier? Or that pregnancies just get worse with every baby? Or something else?.

(Ok. I was going to post a picture of me and my belly, but the computer is not reading the card so I am posting a picture of me one week before the delivery of my last baby! Thank goodness I am not this big already!!!)

The good news is I have started to feel so much better. Much of the exhaustion is gone. My body feels alive again. The smell of the fridge is still atrocious, but I don't puke or gag every time I open it. I'm still having some difficulty with raw meats, the thought of some other foods and puke, on ocassion! I'm happy and now think I will survive this pregnancy! I will live to see my third child!!!!
Girl OR Boy?
I am almost 18 weeks along and will be getting "the ultrasound" in a couple of weeks. I was thinking it would be fun to have a BABY GENDER REVEAL PARTY. A blogger I saw last year was showing her party and I thought it was such a fun idea! Here are two websites with details for such a party I've found if you want to host one in your home.
