Marcela´s house

Yesterday, I went to my great friend, helper, collegue and assistant, Marcela, to shoot her wonderful home for Kamille magazine.

It was a busy day for both of us with styling and photographying in between feeding and changing diapers (I had to bring my daughter...). We were quite happy with the result and so were Kamille.

Marcela is from Argentina, but married a Norwegian and ended up in Norway. She lives in a nice house right outside Oslo, with husband and two, soon to be three kids. When she is not helping me, she is busy blogging on penelopehome. She is also one of the founders of Bla-d, the South American network for interior bloggers. As you can see she has already become "one of us" and adopted the Scandinavian look.

Here´s a sneak preview of what we did, the rest I have to show you when the magazine is out.

Csangolicious!

One of the last jobs I did before I started on my maternity leave, was a shoot for Kamille magazine on creative women. One of the women was director, editor, producer, journalist, writer and food blogger, Monica Csango. On her blog, Csangolicious you will find tons of unpretensious, good food and how to make it. The apple cake that she made when we were there (yes, we get to taste what we shoot), was one of the best I have ever tasted. Super moist and super tasty!

Unfortunately her blog is in Norwegian only, but I guess there are a few programs on the internet which can help you translate :-).

You may have seen her house before, but not in a while and not like this. New colors, new combinations and new furnitures. You can see Kirsten Visdal´s "new home" in Elle Decoration´s (the Norwegian one!) June edition which is out now.

Tamtaratamtaratam (drumroll...)

 

I have made a draw (or actually my boyfriend) in the competition of winning a workshop next weekend, and the name that appeared twice was Linda from Hviit. Congratulations! Guess you have to get your camera ready and mind set and clear because now you are going to learn the difference between shutters and f-stops;-).

Lovely clusters!

For you that has followed me for a while may know that I have a real love for pictures mosaics (when they are put well togehter that is!). Came across the wonderful blog of Rachel Follett the other day that I have to share with you. Here are the most amazing images, color coordinated and put together with a color chart to go with each set. Even a "no color" person like me wants to paint every room in the house when I see these. How very inspirational!
