A tag with little rusty house / Tag z kamieniczką

dziś mamy wtorek, więc jak dobrze wiecie jest to dzień z video. Specjalnie na tą okazję przygotowałem tag z małą kamieniczką (uwielbiam te małe domki) i mnóstwem trybików i rurek.

Hello everyone,

today is tuesday, so as you well know it's a video day. Especially for this occasion, I prepared a tag with a small tenement house (I love these little houses) and lots of gears and pipes.

Tag ten powstał na bazie z MDF-u, na którą przykleiłem tekturki i inne elementy z MDF-u pochodzące z kolekcji "Industrial Factory". Naklejałem je warstwami by tag był nieco przestrzenny.

This tag was made on the basis of MDF, to which I glued chipboards and other MDF elements from the "Industrial Factory" collection. I glued them in layers to make the tag a bit dimensional.

Na tak stworzonych warstwach dodałem małą kamieniczkę oraz ważkę. Całość została pokryta czarnym gesso oraz powoskowana by uzyskać lekko zardzewiały efekt.

On these layers I added a small tenement house and a dragonfly. The whole thing was covered with black gesso and waxed to get a slightly rusty effect.

Tropical Adventure Mixed Media Frame

Hello there everyone, Farrel here to share my latest tutorial with you all.

For this project I used this month's mood board as inspiration....everyone loves a summer themed project right? If you wanted to give it a go, you still have a little bit of time to submit your project.

 So for my project, I used chipboard from the Tropical Adventure collection along with the MDF ship wheel and Background Open Circles set. At the end of the post there will also be a process video which you are more than welcome to click on.

I painted all the chipboard pieces lightly with white gesso. The ships wheel I dry brushed white gesso on - I wanted to give a slight white wash type effect. 

I used Prima's Color Bloom Spray in Deep Teal on my shells and on the background of the small canvas. Then used Finnabair's rust effect paste (only the light brown colour) on the chipboard and on the canvas. I used water to dilute the paste to give an aged beachy look.

dziś wtorek, więc poza projektem przygotowałem dla Was video pokazujące proces powstawania dzisiejszego taga.

Hello,

today is Tuesday, so apart from the project I have prepared for you a video showing the process of creating today's tag.

Wybrałem morską tematykę i postanowiłem stworzyć kawałek rafy koralowej na tagu. W sam raz pasowały tutaj tekturki z kolekcji "Tropical Adventure". Postanowiłem nieco poeksperymentować z kolorami, więc tekturki zabarwiłem farbami akwarelowymi.

I chose the marine theme and decided to create a piece of coral reef on the tag. The chipboards from the "Tropical Adventure" collection was just right here. I decided to experiment with colors a bit, so I colored chipboards with watercolor paints.

Część elementów pokryłem dodatkowo glossy accent. Kompozycję uzupełniłem o postać nurka. 

Some elements were additionally covered with glossy accent. I added to the composition a diver character.

Limited Edition Mixed Media Tag

Witajcie fani SnipArta. Tu Farrel by podzielić się z Wami moją kolejną pracą w tym miesiącu.

Do tego projektu zdecydowałam się użyć dużego taga MDF z tekturkami z różnych kolekcji. Mam także film z prcesu twórczego, który znajdziecie na końcu notki. Ma też napisy i pełną listę produktów, których użyłam.

For this project I decided to create something using the large MDF tag along with chipboards from a few different collections. I also have a process video at the end of the blog which is subtitled and has a full list of products I have used throughout the video.
