Hello my good!

I continue to experiment with creating notebooks, combining mixed media techniques and classic binding.

I created this notebook in soft mint tones, covered the spine of the notebook with sewing, and the back with a pleasant cotton fabric.

I continue my experiments with the chipboard and actively use it on the covers of my mixmedia notebooks. It perfectly tolerates all staining procedures and adds a charming volume to the work.

Who doesn't like music?

We all have different styles of music we like I think...

But today I show you the beautiful electric gitar from MDF

I made a bookcover on a music notebook

I put 3d stars on top of the gitar base and

the MDF "my whole world" as a sentiment on the cover of the book

For texture I used structure paste and the up in the air stencil.

Hello, my darlings!

My name is Shkarpet Alena. As the first work for the design team of Snip Art, I am pleased to present you my notebook.

Jest zrobiony przy użyciu różnych past i farb połączonych z moimi ulubionymi materiałami.

It is made using various pastes and paints, in combination with the most favorite elements and materials.

Bardzo lubię elementy MDF w swoich pracach, ponieważ wydłużają żywotność pracy a ja planuję dużo korzystać z tego notesu by zapisywać swoje kreatywne pomysły.

 I really like to use elements from MDF in my work, as they extend the life of the product, and I plan to use this notebook and write my own creative plans in it.

Okładka notesu jest wykonana ze skóry ekologicznej, co sprawia, że jest bardzo miły w dotyku.

The root of the notebook and its back are covered with leatherette, which makes it pleasant to the touch.

No cóż, alterowany notes i morski klimat, które połączyłam w jednej pracy.

Hi there, what do I have for you to day as inspiration?

Well I love altering notebooks and Sea-themes, so for today's post I combined the two of them. 

Zamiast dość oczywistego wyboru jak koniki morskie, ryby czy kalmary mam dla Was uroczą meduzę z kolekcji Tropical Adventure.

And instead of using the obvious choice like seahorse, fish or squit, I have this cute jellyfish from the Tropical adventure Collection.

W prawdziwym życiu nie przepadam za meduzami. Dają te niemiłe szczypiące uczucie gdy się z nimi zetkniemy. Mam różne doświadczenia mieszkając blisko plaży, ale lubię meduzy w wersji tekturkowej. 
Użyłam trochę więcej elementów Tropical Adventure. Zdjęcia znajdziecie na dole. 

In real live I do not fancy jellyfishes, the give this nasty itch when you had contact with one. And I had my share, living close to the beach.

But I really like the chipboard ones.

Cover of a mini book "My whole world"

Witajcie!
Tym razem chciałabym Was zainspirować moją ostatnią pracą- mixed mediową okładką albumu. Stworzyłam prostą miniksiążeczkę o wymiarach 12,4 na 20,5cm z pomocą bindownicy. Ozdobiłam okładkę mojego minibooka różnymi dekoracja, pokolorowaną gazą, sizalem i tekturkami SnipArt. Wszystkie tekturki pokolorowałam tuszami distress w odcieniach brązu a następnie tu i tam pokryłam pastą akrylową ze złotem i czerwonym efektem rdzy.

Hello everyone!

This time I would like to inspire you with my latest work - mixed media cover of a mini book.
I created a simple mini book in the size 12,5 x 20,5 cm by the help of a bindig machine.

I decorated the cover of my book with various paper embellishments, coloured gauze, sisal and SnipArt chipboards. All chipboards I coloured with distress inks in brown shades and then I painted these randomly with acrylic paste in gold and rust effect paste in red...
