SUNSHINE / P&Co Speed Scrap...

We had a really fun speed scrap tonight over at Pixels and Co.! I used Karen Funk's kit, Love is in the Air Papers and Love is in the Air Elements. Maisie was pretending to sleep, so I whispered "Do you want candy?"... she tried to peek to see if I was serious. That girl LOVES candy.

I'm back with a card for this week's Dilly Beans Challenge, Love Gives Me Wings. I used this adorable image, Heart Birdie. I did some digital paper piecing using Karen Funk's kits Love is In The Air Papers and Love is In The Air Notecards. I printed out 3 versions and popped up some of the pieces.

MAISIE'S 2 / K Funk New Release...

Today is new release day over at Design House Digital - WOOHOO! I live for Thursday! Karen Funk has put together these awesome templates for making customizable confetti! I love it!!! These templates are so fun, I ended up doing another birthday page for Maisie. I love how it turned out!

The kits are also by Karen Funk, called One Year Older; Patterned papers, Elements & Solid Papers.

UNIQUE / K Funk New Release...

Karen Funk has an AWESOME release today over at Design House Digital! Her latest kit, Be Unique, is so perfect for a little boy or family layout!

This pic is one I took a few weeks ago at the park, I thought Alex looked so cute peeking around that beam! Jeff and the kids and I are all home sick now... The kids started the week off with the beginnings of sinus infections and ear infections in both their ears, and now we have colds or something. My house isn't a fun place to be right now!

Good morning! Here's a quick scrap page I did for Karen Funk's new release yesterday of Hello Love - Part 1. It part of a collaboration, and I just love the colors and elements!!! I used Karla Dudley's Protectors Set One as my template - it's so cool that it looks like a photo page protector! You can click on it for a closer look!

DIAPER CHECK / DHD Speed Scrap...

The kids love to climb all over Jeff when he's sitting on the couch. I grabbed the camera to take a pic. When he thought he smelled a dirty diaper ("pull~up" as both the kids usually correct me) he flipped Maisie over for a sniff. What a face! Then he told her to come tell me to change it, and she did... aren't I the lucky one?

ME AND MAISIE / DHD Digi Morph...

We recently had a Digi Morph at Design House Digital, and now that it's been revealed it's safe for me to show it! The pic is actually one that I merged together from 2 less flattering pics of me and Maisie!  I used Karen Funk's Denim Darling Papers.... I love them! (and they are on sale today, too!)

I used Leora Sanford's Frayed Fabric Templates for the top layer of denim - so cool!

FUN IN THE SUN / Karen Funk Designs...

I was going through some pics late last week and came across some that Jeff took a couple months ago of a visit to his sister's. The kids had a really good time swimming and Jeff's photography wasn't too bad! It's actually kinda neat to be able to scrap pics I didn't take myself!

ALEX AND SANTA / K Funk New Release & ST 10.27.11....

Tis the season! Well, not YET of course, but it will certainly be here before we know it! Here's a pic of Alex with the country club Santa a couple years ago... so glad he didn't pull his fake beard off! This layout uses a brand new 'mega' kit from Karen Funk over at Design House Digital called Brown Paper Packages! I just love anything kraft~y, so this kit is right up my alley! The kit's official debut is tomorrow, but I'm thinking if you follow the link above you could get it a day early - LOL!

I used this week's Sketchy Thursday sketch, which I think showed off the banner in the kit just fabulously!

FRILLY NEW HAT / DHD Oct. Blueprint Challenge...

We took the kids to our town's Fall Festival weekend before last and walked around. I had been looking on Etsy for some hats for them, but as luck would have it - someone at the festival was selling some really cute ones for a good price! Maisie wanted the hat, but didn't want to wear it - when I finally got it on her she wasn't very happy. So these photos of her are her "striking a pose" with a near scowl!

I used the October Blueprint from Design House Digital, and Karen Funk's Denim Darling Papers.... I love them!

     

I also found this cool Crochet Flower freebie...

LOVE YOU / USSIS #129...

Good morning! We have a brand new sketch over at Unscripted Sketches for you this morning & I used it to create this quick layout of Maisie and her daddy! She got a new raincoat a while back and was doing a little fashion show for Jeff... she LOVES trying on clothes - LOL!

I also used 2 new kits by Karen Funk called Enjoy the Journey Papers and Enjoy the Journey Elements.

We have a super busy day today, but that also means more family pics to scrap - YAY!
