"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

LOVE IS THE THREAD / CQC #71 & JUGS #70...

Wow, how'd it get to be Tuesday already? We have a new challenge up over at the colourQ, lots o' pink! I decided to go C&S with this card... I love kraft!!!

This card features two sets, Heart Quilt and Sew&Sew, from the Wax Fruit Company. I printed the image onto kraft, and then printed it 3 times more on the 3 different patterned papers. Then I pieced the quilted heart... super quick!

I used the sketch from this week's JUGS Challenge... and also am putting this in the Crafty Cardmakers, Outlawz C&S Color & the Crazy Challenge!

Bye for now...

TEAM WORK / ADFD #6, STR #36, PTW & CCH #41...

HAPPY ADFD FRIDAY! That's right, we have a brand new challenge for you over at A Day For Daisies, "Attitude of Gratitude". The twist is to design your own sentiment of thankfulness for your card - how FUN!!!

I just love this little image - if you can't tell, I've been VERY into pumpkins this year! When I thought of this challenge, I knew I wanted to use this image, Team Work from A Day For Daisies. I love these little guys SO MUCH! When I tried to come up with a sentiment, I thought of this little prayer from when I was a kid:

Child's Prayer of Thanks

Thank you for the world so sweet.
Thank you for the things we eat.
Thank you for the birds that sing,
Thank you God for everything.

As I typed it in, I thought it could almost look like a page from a child's prayer book, so I went with that- something simple with a touch of vintage! I think I might make a bigger one & frame it for Alex's room!

Here are the other challenges that influenced:
Shabby Team Room - What are you thankful for?
Papertake Weekly - Autumn colors
The Crazy Challenge - Thank you or Thanksgiving

Have a great day!!!
