Good morning! EEK - I got a "little" card made in between folding clothes and kitchen cleaning.... don't tell! When I saw the Merry Monday Challenge, I just HAD to play along! I thought Delicate Doilies (yes - again!) would be perfect! I paired it with a sentiment from Jolly Holiday. I partially embossed the panel, and I added a few rhinestones just to bling it up a bit!

We started a new colourQ today - WOOHOO - aren't these some funky colors?!? I thought I was being awesome to use a snowflake set and play along with Merry Monday. Only it was last week's Merry Monday sketch that was linked on Lesley's main page... and I didn't notice. Imagine my shock! Oh well... I'll just have to try to play along with this week's, too!

I used Holiday Sparkles (I love a good snowflake set!!!) and the sentiment was pieced together from a couple words in Life Is Short.

LET IT SNOW / MM #18...

Good morning!!! Today is my last day as the featured Guest Designer at Merry Mondays - I have had SO much fun ~ AND gotten a jump on my Christmas cards! Have you played yet? You should!!!

Today I used a set from the Alley Way Stamps, Snow Much Fun! I love this wacky snowman, isn't he cute? Instead of coal for his eyes I used black rhinestones! I paper pieced his scarf to match the Echo Park paper I used.

MERRY & BRIGHT / MM #17...

Happy Monday! It's Christmas again, LOL! Okay, it's NOT Christmas, obviously, but I can tell you this - I'll have all my cards ready waaaaay before it's here since I play every Monday with the Merry Monday Challenge! Today's sketch is both classic & versatile, so do yourself a favor and play along!!!

I used the light blub (heehee - my baby brother always called them "blubs") from the Paper Smooches set, Perpetual Bliss, to create a string of Christmas lights. I cut a piece of paper to block out the script "love" in the bulb, although it slipped a little and I got some of the edges of it inked onto the card. But then I thought they looked like highlights, so I didn't re-do it! I set the type and printed it on my white panel.

NOEL / MMC #16...

Happy Monday! It's time for another Merry Monday Challenge ~ are you playing along? You SHOULD - you could have all your Christmas cards done by the time the busy season rolls around! Then you could sit back and relax!

My card today uses Echo Park's Winter Park paper - LOVE IT! I decided it would be fun to do some die-cutting for the word NOEL, and then I outlined each letter with stickles.

OH CHRISTMAS TREE / MMC #15...

Here is my last card for today, for this week's Merry Maker's Challenge! This sketch is so versatile, I love it! We have this paper in stock at the Paper Pinwheel Co, it's by Echo Park, called Season's Greetings! I LOVE this plaid!!! I used the Papertrey Ink Chrsitmas tree die, embossed it and then used stickles to trace the raised parts. I really wish you could see it in person - so sparkly!

MERRY CHRISTMAS / MMC #14...

Good morning - it's me again! With a Christmas card, no doubt! Why? Well the very sweet and very talented - and apparently VERY ORGANIZED Lesley Croghan asked me a while back to be April's Featured Designer for her Merry Monday Challenge... where it's CHRISTMAS every Monday!!! WOOHOO - I was thrilled that she thought of me!!!

Soooooo - theoretically, even if you start playing along this week, you'll still have more than enough handmade and unique Christmas cards finished WAAAAAY before you need them. (that's why she's organized!)

I need this this in my life every Monday, I think. Don't you? (say YES!)

I flipped the sketch & when I did, this die from Papertrey Ink came to mind. I've never used it (or the coordinating stamps!), so I thought I should. The tree and sentiment are PTI as well. The paper is from Authentique.
