Swanky Penthouse.

I l-o-v-e when my friends and fellow bloggers send me links to awesome design. This latest was forwarded to me from Beth (who has yet to start a blog) with a message that said: "When I look through these pictures my heart-beats-a-thousand-seconds-per-minute and I become completely jealous I wasn't born as Kari. It's my ultimate favorite of fav's."

It would be a shame not to share such beauty.

Here's a brief background. Brother and Sister, Kari and Kirby Schlegel, share a 12,200 sq ft penthouse in the W Victory Hotel in Dallas. They split the place into two separate apartments and share a "grand salon" for entertaining.

Ladies first, let's take a look at Kari's space.







Did I mention she is 25 and in grad school. She likes to host dinner clubs and parties. Could you imagine going to a grad school party there?!?

It's time to take a home tour of Katie Lee Joel's townhouse in the West Village. This was renovated by Architect Ahmad Sardar-Afkhami and designed by the adorable Nate Berkus.
