See You In Vegas - Work (Red Rhino)
Deceptively pleasant little pop ditty, this. See You In Vegas are a band with a 'radical' message delivered with humour and a lot of style. The music's not bad either. (Eleanor Levy, Record Mirror, August 20, 1983)

Pulp - My Lighthouse (Red Rhino)
Acoustic, hopeful and really rather jolly. One of these disarming indie singles in which less equals more. Its dated innocence leaves you beaming. (Paul Sexton, Record Mirror, July 2, 1983)
Hula - Cut Me Loose (Red Rhino)
The massively underrated Hula should have an overdue hit with this brain-slicing but still accessible piece of danceability. Aw, come on boys and girls, have you all gone soft listening to Curiosity Killed The Cat? Buy Hula and make 'em massive, then I can say I told you so! (Nancy Culp, Record Mirror, August 8, 1987)
