Mari Wilson - Just What I Always Wanted (Compact)

Pleasant but rather cardboard attempt to get the deeply marvellous Mari a hit, a process which is taking longer than expected. What Mari needs is a big song and an even bigger production. Something like "All Of My Heart" would be a start. Meanwhile, go and see her in concert. Fun for all the family. (David Hepworth, Smash Hits, September 2, 1982)

And a warm welcome back to the former Junior Dive Board Champion for the London Borough of Brent, now sporting a hairdo that looks not unlike the back end of a chicken in a strong cross-wind.
