Love Tile

I have been using quite a lot of vinyl lately and here is my latest project.

I used a 12" x 24" porcelain tile that I purchased at Lowe's as the base and added brown and gold vinyl.  The SVG Attic file that I used for this project is called Be Kind.  It included the frames and the word "LOVE".  The words in gold were ones that I created on my own with my cutting software.

This tile is very fitting for Valentine's Day decor, but would also be a stunning wedding gift!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

John Deere Wedding Tile

Today I am sharing more of my ceramic tiles with you.  These both were created for the same couple, but of course only one was actually given to them as their wedding gift.  The John Deere one is the one they ended up receiving.
The story of the two tiles is really quite humorous actually.  I made this one first, using a file from My Vinyl Designer.  I have tiles that I sell on display at St. James Marketplace and I brought this one there so people could see this style of tile as it was a new one.  Much to my surprise, since Haselhorst is not a common name around there, it sold!  I was just hoping and praying it wasn't going to the same couple LOL!  So I did some asking around and thankfully it wasn't going to them, so I made the John Deere one for them since he is really big into that.
On both of these tiles I used Oracal 631 vinyl that I purchased from H&H Sign Supply.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Music Tile

I am so excited about this tile!  It is the first time I have tried using a background on any of my tiles and it turned out great.  I come from a musical family and this would be very fitting of my oldest sister especially.  I made the vinyl design in SCAL2 and cut it out on my Cricut.  If you are wondering where I get my vinyl, I buy most of it from H&H Sign Supply.  They have wonderful prices on larger amount of vinyl.  I wait to order until I need quite a bit since the shipping is on the high end.
I hope you enjoy it as well!

Maya Angelou Quote Tile

This was a special request from a friend of mine from high school.  It is on an 18" tile.  Yup.  It's big!  You definitely need a large place to put one of these.  I created the words in my SCAL2 program and the floral swirl in the bottom left corner is from SVGCuts. The words are in black vinyl and the flower is in a matte silver vinyl.  (I get most of my vinyl from H&H Sign Supply.)  The color of the silver is not accurate in this top photo since the flash reflected off of it.
A close up of the floral corner to show the true color of the silver vinyl.
I hope you enjoy it!

Ceramic Tiles

This is just one of the current crafty loves that I have right now...making custom vinyled tiles.  I love creating the layout, picking out the colors of vinyl and tiles and seeing the finished product!  I have made so many of these for gifts which turned into a small business for me as the word spread about them.  For the most part I create all of the vinyl designs that I put onto the tiles in my Sure Cuts A Lot 2 software which is no longer available.  I then cut them out on my Cricut Expression, which I have had for three years now.  It is crazy to think how long I have been cutting up paper and vinyl :)
Here are some pictures of the tiles I have made:

The Live Laugh Love tile I designed the words but the corner designs were from the Storybook Cricut cartridge.  I used brown and tan vinyl.

This is MY tile :)  It was one of the first I made and the pictures of my two older boys are very outdated, but I really wanted to share what an 18" tile looks like all made up.  Once again, the corners are from the Storybook Cricut cartridge and the rest I designed myself using brown and burgundy vinyl.  You definitely need a large space for a tile this size!

The following two tiles are ones that were made on 12" tiles and are the first style of name tile that I started making.

This last tile is one that I feel has a wonderful message.  The colors of vinyl in this one are gold, brown and burgundy.

It seems like every time I turn around I see more saying and designs that I want to put on tiles, so I will be sharing more of these in the future!  If you were wondering where I get my vinyl, I buy most of it from H&H Sign Supply.  They have wonderful prices on larger amount of vinyl.  I wait to order until I need quite a bit since the shipping is on the high end.

Thanks for stopping by!
