The Craft's Meow's Non-Release Festivities Catch-Up

Hello, friends! Thank you for your sweet comments on yesterday's post HERE and HERE. I have been blessed by your love and prayers. Thank you!

I have missed the last two days of The Craft's Meow's festivities, so here is my catch-up post. First of all, TCM is having a HUGE sale! From now through Sunday, April 21st, take 21% off of your entire order, including already low sale prices on retiring stamp sets, by entering the code April21 at checkout! If your order net of the discount exceeds $50, then place in your cart this month's free gift with purchase, Sweet Silhouettes! As always, orders of $65 or more receive free shipping within the US (discounted shipping for our International customers)

Today's theme is Masculine. I used my Sweet Silhouettes to make this birthday card. I distressed this quite a bit. I've been playing around with my Distress Inks as well. I'm still not good at it and prefer the "cleaner" distressing, if that makes sense :). I die cut the frame using Spellbinders Labels 10. I know lace and Want2Scrap pearls are girly, but I thought I roughen them up enough here to fit in a masculine card. I stapled the messy lace and colored the pearls black with Copic markers. What do you think?
SS-Masculine
My next card is for Tuesday's hop with the Card for a Child theme. I used TCM's Sweet Birthday on this. The papers are October Afternoon. I also used Spellbinders' Lacey Circle die, Copics and Twinery twine. The cake is adorned with Want2Scrap pearls.
TCM-Bday-Wishes2
This next one is for yesterday's Feminine/Mother's day theme. I used Beautiful Spring and Mother & Father stamp sets. The papers are Penny Black's Madison. I colored the butterfly with Copics. I also used some Want2Scrap bling on this card.

Finally, the NinaB Designs team is hopping right now. Check out HERE for more info and giveaway!
This is it for me today. Thank you for your visit and I hope you're all enjoying a beautiful spring day!

Inspire and Thank You

Hi, friends. Today's card is using one of the new January release stamps, Crafty Shelf, which coordinates with a previously released set, Beautiful Shelf.

I first stamped the stitched border from Beautiful Shelf with Memento Toffee Crunch ink on kraft cardstock. I used the shelf as a small table on my card and and placed a vase of flowers on it. The "Inspire" sentiment is from Crafty Shelf. I paper pieced the shelf and colored the vase with Copics. The papers are by Basic Grey, the twine is from The Twinery.

Here are the other two butterfly cards that I shared on the SRM blog the other dayThe butterfly is from The Craft's Meow's Beautiful Spring. I colored it with Copic markers. The papers are Pink Paislee. The pearls are by Want2Scrap.The sentiment is from Sickers by the Dozen Thank You.

Hugs

I am showing you a card using some of the Want2Scrap new Summer CHA releases. This card was shared on the Want2Scrap blog a few days ago. And guess what? I didn't use any bling this time, which was really hard for me to do :). I wanted to highlight the other paper crafting "essentials" from the W2S store.

I used the Garden Motif - Silhouette  here on my card as an accessory to the Copic colored flower (from The Craft's Meow's Beautiful Spring stamp set).

Here you can see the full card. I just love those delicate garden silhouettes. The papers are by My Mind's Eye.
W2S-Hugs
My sentiment and tag are from The Craft's Meow's Love Dwells Here stamp set. The tag is die cut using Spellbinders Home Sweet Home dies. I accessorized the tag with the Card Size Antique Keys w/hardware - Chipboard attached by a simple twine.

Thank you for joining me today on the Want2Scrap blog!

Butterfly Hi

I have a card for you today that is also featured on the Crafter's Home blog to celebrate WCM day! It has all the pretty Want2Scrap lovelies that make your project literally shine. :)

I used the Want2Scrap Nestaboard Labels Twenty Four to frame my focal point and adorned it with Nestabling Labels Twenty Four White Pearl. I die cut some beautiful Graphics 45 Little Darlings paper with Spellbinders Labels 24.The coordinating border was die cut using Spellbinders Classic Petal Edgeabilities.
W2S-WCMD
The butterfly is from The Craft's Meow's Beautiful Spring set and I colored it with Copics. The sentiment is from Sew Happy, also by TCM. I love adding pearls to the butterfly bodies and the Baby Bling Pearls White - 100 Count - 2.5mm is just the perfect size for that.

Butterfly Thanks

Happy Memorial Day, US friends!

I hope you're not tired of my butterflies yet because I just love them! This one I shared on the Want2Scrap blog the other day. I use the Want2Scrap Swirls Silver Rhinestones for the flight path.
W2S-May-2
These swirls really add a special touch to any card. I finished the card with sticker and paper scraps, half a doily and pompom ribbon. This card is also entered in the Moxie Fab's Doilies and Lace Challenge.

Here's a close up of the butterfly from The Craft's Meow's Beautiful Spring. It's colored with Copic markers. I adhered the body using Glue Arts Adhesive Squares™ Brand Adhesives-ExtremeTac Minis.

The Craft's Meow's Previews: Flower Garden

Hello, friends. The Craft's Meow team is showing our previews for this month's release! There's lots happening, including two new Guest Designers this month: Sharri Seffens and Annette Allen, who both have made some beautiful projects for you all this week. We also have a new Free set with $50 purchase that we'll show in a few days.

I have two sets being released (one goes with my Spellbinders' Licensed Design, Sewing Elements!). One is called Flower Garden and we're showcasing it today. It's a set that I've been wanting for a while now. As some of you know, as much as I love to color with my Copics, I don't always have the time to do so. That's when sets like Flower Garden come in handy. With several flowers, stems and leaves options, there are so many looks you can achieve with these images.

For my card today, I used the flowers as a background image. I stamped them directly on the patterned paper (by Melissa Frances).

I then added a sentiment from Sent with Love and a butterfly from Beautiful Spring set.

Please make sure you check out the TCM blog for more inspiration and giveaway info. Speaking of giveaways, make sure you check out the NinaB Designs blog hop where there are 5 prizes up for grabs.

For Our Aunt

It's been a fun break with my family, which includes today since it's a holiday. We had a great Resurrection Sunday/Easter celebration/dinner with our church family and I'm still stuffed from that! I spent most of today cleaning and organizing. It's funny that our break started and ended with cleaning, but it feels good to be done with that...at least for now :).

I have an elegant card for you today that was inspired by my friend Beate Johns, who just happened to have a birthday today! I just love her layers and elegant style. I'm still in de-hoarding mood, so you will see lots of cards here using scraps. I used The Craft's Meow's Cherished and Beautiful Spring sets. The background stamp on the oval is Penny Black's Scented Message. That gorgeous frame was die cut using Spellbinders Floral Oval dies.
Butterfly-Aunt
I colored the butterfly with Copic markers. The swirly bling is Want2Scrap's Beautiful Borders Endless Waves.
Butterfly-Aunt-detail
The flower is die cut using Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms dies and the flourish bling is Want2Scrap's Fancy That!, along with the bling strip on the butterfly.
