Butterfly Kisses

I'm hosting a group of young ladies today in our home and I'll be showing them how to make Chinese food with the ingredients available in Croatia. Orange chicken, chow mein and fried rice are on the menu. I've made it dozens of time for our family, but never for such a large group (11 people!) and never while teaching others how to make it. I don't have a recipe, just kind of make it up as I go. It has worked every time before, but maybe I should look for a real recipe this time :). I'll keep you posted how it goes...

Today's card uses one of my first The Craft's Meow stamps called Butterfly Kisses. I used some K&Co papers. The little pearls on the fairy wings are by Want2Scrap. As usual, you can find the links below.

Make a Wish Fairy

I've been so busy (in a good way) and can't wait to share with you all what I've been working on. I have some new and exciting stuff coming soon! I feel so blessed being part of this paper crafting community, don't you?

Today's card uses The Craft's Meow's Butterfly Kisses set. The papers and die cuts are Crate Paper's Emma's Shoppe. I also used Tsukineko's Memento Lady Bug for the fairy and I just love how well this ink stamps! No blotches, no spots, just even inking. The sketch follows the CPS challenge this week.

Finally, check out my friend Viola's card HERE. She's so talented and I'm old enough to be her mom! I'm so thankful she designs with my stamps from The Craft's Meow. I just love her work.

Have a great Thursday and don't forget my 300K hits giveaway on THIS POST.

Make a Wish Fairy

Just a quick post today of my card for the Card Patterns sketch 114. Our sponsor is Catherine Pooler who's an SU! Demo. She provided the pretty papers and ribbons that I used on my card. The fairy and sentiment are from the Butterfly Kisses set by The Craft's Meow.

I hope you can join us at Card Patterns. And don't forget my Spellbinder dies giveaway. More info in my previous post. And FYI, you don't need a blog to enter the giveaway. Just sign in as Anonymous and leave your basic info, so I have a name when picking the winner.

Enjoy your day tomorrow, especially you moms out there. We celebrated today with a dinner and a movie. We saw Rio, a Disney film, which was much better than I expected. We all enjoyed it.

Butterfly Kisses Blog Hop

Welcome to Release Day with The Craft's Meow! I hope you have enjoyed the previews. Aren't I blessed to have such a great group of talented ladies showcasing my stamp designs? They are a treasure for any stamp designer and I get to be theirs through TCM! What a treat for me.

But, before anything else, I just want to note that the Fly Free set from yesterday's post was inspired by no other than Sarah Martina. The brilliant open birdcage with butterflies was her idea and I just merely interpreted it with my pen. She deserves all the credit for that beautiful concept!

Today is a hop with more prizes up for grabs. You should have come from The Craft's Meow's blog. If not, you should begin there to get all the details for the hop.

The Butterfly Kisses set, as I have already mentioned, was inspired by my girls. The fairy is a silhouette of my youngest, who had hair just like this when she was 3. My middle child is a big fan of Tinker Bell, so she was so tickled when I showed her this little fairy. And my oldest helped with the sentiments. And all three love to blow on these dandelions. So, they're having a ball now as these weeds are everywhere.

Butterfly Kisses coordinates with Graphic 45's Once Upon a Springtime collection.

Here's my 2nd card using the butterfly image.

Sarah Martina has created a fabulous kit using these papers and stamps together as well. You will want to check it out, along with the new stamps on The Craft's Meow's blog.

These are today's prizes. You can find the details of the giveaways on The Craft's Meow's blog:
  1. Butterfly Kisses stamp set (being showcased today)
  2. Lush 2 Turquoise Prize Package from My Mind's Eye!!! Includes one each of the patterned and flocked papers shown, plus all the accessories! Thanks again Nick!
  3. Sarah's Butterfly Kisses Card Kit
Once again, the prizes will be awarded based on random drawing from the comments left on THREE of the Team blogs listed below! You won't know whose blog has the prize... neither do I, actually, until I draw from a hat...so you'll want to leave a comment on each blog for more chances to win. But please play fair... only ONE comment per blog!

You have until 11:00 pm Pacific tonight (May 1st) to make the rounds! The winners will be announced in tomorrow's post.

Now, you need to hop on to my very talented friend, Alice Wertz. I know you will not be disappointed.
