I am on the SRM Stickers blog today, featuring their Sickers by the Dozen Thank You stickers and Twinery Twine (Carribean #68012 and Buttercream #68008). Here is one of the 3 I made. The butterfly is from The Craft's Meow's Beautiful Spring. I colored it with Copic markers. The papers are Pink Paislee. The pearls are by Want2Scrap. CFC #10 Sentimental
Hello, friends! It's Crafty Friends Challenge again and this time, Linda, our hostess, challenged us to focus our project on words/sentiments.
I made this clean and simple card for you using my Penny Black Madison Paper pad. The seam binding and twine are by Ribbon Carousel.

Hello, how are you?
I have a fancy card for you today using Donna Salazar's Wonderful Wings Spellbinders dies and coordinating Want2Scrap bling. The papers are Cosmo Cricket and the rosette is by American Crafts.
The flower in the rosette center is from The Craft's Meow's Stitched Flowers, which were colored with Copics, and the sentiment is from TCM's Stitched Sentiments. I finished the card with a strip of Want2Scrap Sleek Strips Silver Rhinestones- Self Adhesive. I love how a strip of bling adds so much to a card.
I hope you're having a great day!

Birthday Greetings
It was my turn on the Want2Scrap blog a couple of days ago and I shared a card there that I'm showing you now. I used some new products that I've had for a while, but just didn't have time to use till now. I used Want2Scrap Fancy Waves Border Bling and Baby Bling Silver Rhinestones with Cosmo Cricket papers and American Crafts Rosette embellishment.
The sentiment is stamped using The Craft's Meow's Stitched Sentiments set and Clearsnap Vivid Brick ink. Here's a close up of this quick and easy card.
I hope you are enjoying the last weeks of summer!

Dear Friend
I have been posting some of my publication rejects cards lately, but always forget to post the ones that actually make it :). Part of the reason is I can't keep track of the magazine's policies regarding sharing photos of published cards. I have been slacking in the submission department lately, just because life gets so busy. But I have to say it's always well worth the effort. I love the challenge of getting cards accepted, and of course the perks of getting paid and/or receiving paper crafting products are a plus. :)
Today's card was published in CARDS Magazine back in October 2010.The sentiment is from Layers of Color's Sent with Love. The paper is American Crafts.

Speaking of publications, I have some published in the recent Paper Crafts Magazine special edition magazines and their first ever book that will be revealed at CHA:

Spring Hugs
Today's card uses my latest GinaK Lovely Labels 3. The label was, of course, die cut with Spellbinders Labels 18. The papers are American Crafts Enchanted. The pink ribbon and buttons are PTI and twine by The Twinery.
Don't forget the Lily Pad Cards Hop is still happening. I don't know about you, but I'm excited about this new challenge blog because it involves many of my stamping idols.

Thank You Blog Hop
Welcome to the Gina K Designs team's special Spellbinders Thank You Blog Hop! I hope you're hopping along with us and arrived here from my talented friend Michelle Woerner's blog. To see the blog hop order, visit the StampTV site.
It is no secret how much I love my Spellbinder dies *wink* and I'm so excited to be a part of this hop as we showcase different projects featuring our beloved dies using the new Grand Calibur machine. When I was at CHA in January, I was able to demo the Grand Calibur to retailers and it was such a great experience. The machine works effortlessly. It is much easier to crank than my other die cutting machine, which I often have to hold still with my left hand as I crank with the right. Grand Calibur's suction works so well that you don't need to do this. It stays put as it cuts. I also love that the cutting area is HUGE! You can cut up to letter size, meaning you can die cut several shapes at a time.
Here is my first card for today's hop. I used the following dies for this one:
And notice that border of bling? That's my favorite find at CHA called the Nestabling, manufactured by Want2Scrap. Bling and Spellbinder Nestabilities together...what more could a crafty girl ask for?
My second card features the following dies:

Glittered Cake
Before I begin, I just want to wish my talented friend and co-crafter in Croatia, Jane Beljo, a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope this year is the best one yet! Stay warm and enjoy your snow-covered day.
I am so thrilled to join her and her amazing design team in the re-release party of her very own Jane's Bakery stamp set, available at her etsy store. This cute set of stamps is perfect for coloring, paper piecing using all sorts of cardmaking style. These stamps are high quality photopolymer clear stamps that are made in the USA. If you're in Australia, you can purchase them, along with Jane's yummy buttons, at Jay Gee's Nook.
Here's my card using the layered cake, banner and sentiment from Jane's Bakery stamp set. The papers are PTI Melon Berry and American Crafts Dear Lizzy.
Here's a detailed photo of the cake, which was embellished with glitter and my own doodles (polka dots and lines). The cake and banner were colored with Copic markers. The seam binding is my own.

Make sure you visit Jane's Doodles design team, as well as the Guest DT for this hop. I know you will not be disappointed. Here are the links:

Summery Cards
A couple of fun cards to show you using GinaK's Beach Bum set, Dear Lizzy papers by American Crafts and some yummy SRM Stickers. I colored the images with Copics. I just love these papers, so perfect to bring sunshine to somebody's life. :-)
