I had so much fun making this card. It's reminiscent of one of my favorite cards from 2009. The stamps are Hero Arts' Wish You Were Here. The sentiment is SRM Stickers We've Got Your Stickers Happy. The papers are just scraps I found on my desk. The cream "base board" is embossed but it's hard to see on the photo. I added some bling on the chandelier and on the bottom.

Ruffled lamps and a recipe
I have two things to show you today for Unity Friends with Flair Friday, but first, make sure you check out Unity's blog to get the list of participants this week. And find the flair for a chance to win a grab bag of stamps. Don't forget Unity is having a sale right now. Check out the Unity blog for more info.
The next one was my entry to Week 4 Bro Challenge. I used an oven mitt from an old set, Lovin' from the Oven (I think that's what it's called). Again, I used scraps for this project. This Rachael Ray recipe is soooo good and soooo easy to make. I change it a little by adding sauteed chicken (we're meat lovers in our house :-)) and mushrooms. You can go HERE to see the recipe in full. The sketch follows the Card Positioning System this week.

My first card uses my favorite Unity stamp right now, this adorable little lamp from Shine On!. I love to paper piece the shade. I used only my paper scraps for this card. I ruffled the bottom (for the new Moxie Fab challenge) and covered the "mess" with a pretty ribbon. The sentiment is from my Elegant Verses set and I've always wanted to pair these two stamps together. A bow with a flower and button center finished the card.

Same colors, two different styles
I used Dawn's Raspberry Suite colors again. The first one has the elegant style. The stamps are Damask Designs by PTI. The papers I used are More Mustard, Kraft (PTI) and Ivory (GinaK), flower by Prima, ink is Memento Rich Cocoa.

This one has a bit of earthly whimsy. The tree and quote stamps are from Unity and the bird is from Live Simply by Hero Arts. I just love that quote. I followed CPS Sketch this week and turned it sideways. I added a little bit of distressing around the quote (for the A Spoonful of Sugar challenge).
Papers: Chocolate Chip, DCWV spring stack, SEI, PTI Kraft
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Copics
Others: button from PTI

Snippets and Birthday Birdie
Have you seen Gina's (of GinaK Designs) snippets on her blog? It's pretty exciting over there. Can you guess which one is my new stamp set to be released on the 30th of July? Stay tuned early next week when I give it away as blog candy. I'll be celebrating 4 months and 26,000 hits on my blog. Woohoo!
I played with my Copics again on this card. I followed CPS sketch #125 and The Pink Elephant's #25 challenge to use animals on your card.
Stamps: Live Simply (HeroArts), Branch and cloud (Unity), Greeting (TSG)
Ink: Memento Black, Really Red, Copic markers
Paper: Really Red, GinaK White CS
Other: Scallop edge punch by SU

CPS 122 Unity owl
I made this card using Unity's June KOTM. I just love the look on this owl. I also used the CPS sketch this week.

Stamps: Unity June KOTM
Ink: Eggplant Envy, Memento Angel Pink
Paper: Eggplant Envy, Guidelines paper pack by PTI
I also have a few things for sale/trade over at SCS, including some Copics, stamps from Unity, PTI, and SU. The prices include shipping and delivery confirmation. If there is anything you really want, let me know your best offer and I'll work with you :-). I have to sell these before I leave for Croatia.

Inspiring butterfly
As I was packing stuff to take on my trip to the US, I found my once-beloved SU's scrapbooking kit, Just Delightful. The colors somewhat resemble the Color Throwdown's colors this week. I loosely interpreted their colors because I don't have Tempting Turquoise and Kiwi Kiss. I used Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery instead. I paper pieced the swirls free hand. The sketch is from CPS #120.

CPS #111 Sketch
For this week's CPS Sketch, here's my card:
I didn't do any stamping here. The verse was printed on the computer. The ribbon looks darker here than in real life.
Supplies:
Patterned Paper: PTI Guidelines
Others: Cuttlebug Swiss dots EF, 1" round punch, Oval Nestabilities corner rounder, ribbon and button

CPS #109 Sketch
My very first submission to the Card Positioning System Sketch Challenge. I used my brand new stamp design, Cupcake Mix & Match, from There She Goes. I don't know why, but the picture turned out a little different from the actual card. The cardstock is supposed to be Pink Pirouette, not this blush color. Anyway, I hope you can tell that it's monochromatic. Thanks all for looking.

Supplies:
Stamps: Cupcake Mix & Match (TSG)
Ink: Regal Rose
Paper: Pink Pirouette, White, Regal Rose DSP
Acc: Nesties, buttons, pink pearl, paper piercer
