Topiary scissor fob.

Ecco un altro fob che avevo preparato per Cinzia, si tratta di un EEF le cuciture con il blanket stitch si intravedono solo, ma vi assicuro che chiudere il lavoro in questo modo sembra di averci messo un sottile cordoncino attorno.


Here's another scissor fob made for Cinzia, it's a EEF desing, I close it with blanket stitch, it looks like to close with a little cording.

QUAKER CORNERS ALPHABET.

Ecco cosa ho fatto in questi giorni da un vecchio disegno di GH. Il cuscino è riuscito piuttosto grande rispetto ai soliti che faccio, circa 15 cm per 15, allora ci ho messo ancora più lavanda in modo da tenerlo come profuma ambiente sul tavolo in salotto.



This's a work made this week. From a very old GH design I finished as pincushion, is rather big almost 6 inch so I put more lavender inside and I'm going to use it as sachet displayed on the table in the living room.

Eccolo, l'ho finito e per non deludervi lo pubblico subito. Ci ho messo del cartoncino e dell'imbottitura con la mia solita lavanda per profumarlo. Il cordoncino e le nappine le ho confezionate con lo stesso filo usato per i tetti e per chiudere in alto ho usato blanket stitch



I finished it, I put card board inside and lavander as always. The cording and the tassels are made with the same color used for the roofs, I closed the top with blanket stitch.

Nuovissimo appena arivato dagli States, non ho resistito dal cominciarlo nonostante il caldo e le mani che fanno fatica a lavorare. Per ora sono alla casa centrale , il lino è un 40ct e la seta è un pò dura da lavorare ma il divertimento è assicurato.


Just arrived from the States this CHS. I'm only at the middle house for now because is really hot here and it's hard to keep the needle, but I try to do my best.On 40ct dirty linen with AVAS, I'm having so much fun.

Ecco la mia ultima realizzazione natalizia, lo so che è presto, ma io un pò ci sto già pensando.


This's my latest Christmas ornament, I know that it's too early to think about Christmas but when I find something interesting I can hardly wait to do it.

BISCORNU.

Tempo fa ho visto realizzata questa idea, molte di voi sanno di cosa si tratta, è una striscia da appoggiare al bracciolo della poltrona o del divano e serve da punta spilli e porta fili. Io l'ho realizzata con il biscornu usando un disegno free e un alfabeto di un vecchio sampler.

I saw this finishing some years ago, most of you know what it is, you can hang it on an armchair or on your sofa and use it as pincushion and thread keeper. I used biscornu tecnique for the pincushion and an old alphabet for completing the stitching.

Ho appena finito di confezionare questo altro disegno di Goode, ho ricavato sul retro una tasca per inserire il porta matassine in legno che avevo acquistato lo scorso anno a Parigi a Linas Point de croix.Come sempre i disegni di Anne Brown mi ispirano.


I just finished this Goode design, I put a little pocket on the back for the thread wider. Anne Brown designs always inspire me a lot.

Ecco la foto della sorpresa :vi presento Marina, amica di blog che si è 'arrampicata' sulle montagne di Macugnaga per conoscermi, pensate il piacere che abbiamo avuto nell'incontrarci per la prima volta dopo tanti commenti sui rispettivi blogs.

Comunque ci è sembrato di conoscerci da sempre, il nostro linguaggio del ricamo ci unisce davvero. Marina sono stata davvero felice di averti incontrato di persona.

This is the picture of the big surprise, the beautifull woman pictured with me is Marina, a very kind 'blog friend' who came in Macugnaga to visit me. It was wonderfull to meet her there and even we never see each other before we talked as old friends: stitching makes friendship. Thank you Marina for coming , I'm really very happy for that.

Eccomi di ritorno da Macugnaga dove si è svolta la fiera di san Bernardo e dove ho ricevuto una sorpresa incredibile... quì trovate due foto del mio tavolo, il tettuccio rosso ha reso la luce un pò falsa ma è quello che ho potuto fare. La foto della sorpresa la troverete nel prossimo post.

I'm back from Macugnaga where I've been during San Bernardo Fair. I got a big and wondefull surprise there, I'll show the picutre in the next post. Here you can see some of my table even the light is not the correct one.

SAN BERNARDO FAIR.

Care ragazze, non ci sentiremo per due giorni, domani e dopo sarò a Macugnaga per la celeberrima Fiera di san Bernardo. Ci sarà come consueto il mercatino artigianale al quale parteciperò per la...decima o dodicesima volta credo!!! , Vi invito a venire a trovarmi ,sarò nel vialetto del paese dalle 10 alle 22 di sabato e dalle 10 alle 18 di domenica.

Dopo qualche giorno di isolamento, sono di nuovo on-line. Non mi sembra vero di non aver potuto 'navigare'....ma adesso mi devo rifare e come primo lavoro vi presento questo cuscinetto di CHS ricamato su lino 40ct Sheep straw.
