A recipe for you

Hi all,
I hope you all had a good weekend. Daisy's eye is much better now, although she is still on the antibiotics. We spent a lovely weekend visiting a science museum that has lots of things for children and then going swimming. I was hoping to get some crafting done, but time rolled away from me and as it is half term this week, I'm not sure how much I will get done as Daisy has a lot of things planned for us!
Over at Incy Wincy this week, we are sponsored by Pink Cat Studio. We have a recipe for you and we would like you to use 3 embellishments, 2 papers and 1 image. I have used a sweet dragon image from Pink Cat Studio. The papers are from a pack that came free with a magazine. The star is shiny fabric, and I have had them for ages. Please check out the fab projects from the rest of the DT.

Yes, it is a Christmas card!

Please scroll down for my Digital Delights DT post
Hi again,
Over at CRAFT, we are sponsored by Fantastic Ribbons, The Stamping Boutique and Hope Jacare. We have a recipe for you this week, which is use a digital image, use some ribbon and use some buttons. I have used Santa and his reindeer by The Stamping Boutique. I know it is a Christmas card, but I do need to try and be organised for them for this year and not leave it until December before I make them. The snowflake paper is from a free CD I had with a magazine. I have had the snowflake ribbon for years and thought it would be perfect for this and the white card is also embossed with snowflakes, although it is quite hard to see.
Have a great rest of the week.

School food has changed

Hi all,
Yesterday, Daisy's school took part in the National Roast lunch day and so parents were invited to join the children for lunch. Hubby works from home on Wednesday, so he agreed to go (he quite likes to get involved as I seem to do more things as I'm around). Daisy has packed lunch normally, but agreed to a school lunch and apparently she ate it all, especially the apple crumble and custard! Martha and I didn't have anything quite as exciting at home.
It's time for another CRAFT challenge and this time we are sponsored by
who are offering 4 digis to the lucky winner. This week we have a little recipe for you. We would like to see two shapes, one ribbon and some glitter. I have used Mrs Claus by Sassy Designs. The papers were freebies from a magazines years ago and I think the ribbon was from Hobbycraft. My two shapes are a circle and a star. The glitter is there - on the bow and the santa hat. Please don't forget to check out the fab projects from the rest of the DT and check back here soon to see my Digital Delights project.

A recipe for you

Hi again,

It's Tuesday and time for another Creative Craft challenge. We have a recipe for you. We would like to see 1 ribbon, 2 papers and 3 brads on your project. This time, I decided to add more than the recipe to my card and although it is in traditional colours, I quite like it. The image is by Tim Holtz and the flower is from Wild Orchid. I have had the ribbon for ages but have only used a little bit as I find it difficult to decide what to do with it. The paper is by Basic Grey and Making memories (I think!) and I distressed it.
This is also scheduled so sorry for the absence of waffle!

A recipe for you

Hi all,

It's Monday, so it's time for another challenge at Incy Wincy. This week we are sponsored by:

and the prize is 4 digital images from the shop. This week it is a recipe challenge and the recipe is : 3 flowers, 2 papers and 1 image. I used a sweet bunny image from Meljen's Designs. If you have read some of my other posts, you will know how hard I find clean and simple cards to make. So, I decided to just use the ingredients with little else added, but I still found it hard and keep thinking the card looks a bit bare. The papers are by Prima and the flowers are from Wild Orchid.

Daisy has been in kindy today so I took the opportunity to do some Christmas shopping with Martha. I can't believe how quickly it's creeping up on us. I've also been getting the house sorted as my in-laws are arriving tomorrow morning for a couple of weeks. They haven't met Martha yet, so it will be nice for them to have some time with the girls. I hope you have a good day,

Nikki
