As the title says, this was the hardest card I have ever made. I wasn't sure whether to post it or not, but I thought it might explain why I might not be very chatty for a little while. On Thursday, I received the news that a friend of mine from the village died suddenly. I had lunch with her on the Wednesday and she was full of life. I met her years ago at the local toddler group when Daisy was a baby and Daisy and her middle daughter became good friends. She was known by everyone in the village and was a wonderful person. It was such a shock and it still hasn't really sunk in yet. It is so tragic that her three daughters have been left with no mother.
My card is very simple, but to be honest, I really didn't feel like doing anything and have little motivation to craft. I have never before stamped directly onto the card, but this is a one layer card. The ink is victorian velvet, the flower is a stamp by Stampin up and the sentiment is by personal impressions.
