Can you Imagine?

 

Those were the days when I could look good in my clothes.  Now, I just try to hide in my clothes, with all the fat and wrinkles, I have accumulated.  When I look in the mirror, I can't see anything that resembles this person here.  Being old is not funny, but I guess it's better than being dead.

Musical Instruments

Our local high school marching band, is breaking all the records, lately.  They've even been invited to go to London, England to perform.  I'm sure all the parents are in a dizzy, trying to get things together, to finance the trip.  They, will need to make sure their child's instrument, has all the extra parts and accessories, needed to have a successful performance.  They can go to  musicfriends  online store and shop, plus get the items shipped to their home address, for quick service.  Check out the link in this post for all you music product needs.

 There's new developments of stores going up here in my town.  I haven't noticed that it's building a music store, for all the kids who play in the high school bands and orchestras.  I suppose to find a  store near you  you'll need to click on the above link and put in your zip code to find one.  The internet apps are also on your mobile phones, so this has become convenient when searching.

Another Birthday

 They say one foot in the grave and the other sliding.  How many times have I said that to someone who was older than me?  Now the shoe fits and it don't feel a damn bit good.  I guess I'll try and go out gracefully, but I know that won't be the case with me.  I'll be fighting it tooth and claw and hating every moment I loose ground.
Yesterday, I had another birthday and it's really causing me to feel old.  Looking in the mirror doesn't help either.  So, here's to the good Lord's grace to grant me another day of life.  Thank you Lord for your blessings.

Hello, My name is Christie. I am 25 years old and a full-time college student. Over the past 2 years I have worked hard to lose roughly 140 lbs, down from 308lbs (my highest weight.)  While I am very happy with my results and healthy, I feel as if I am trapped in the wrong body.  With that being said, I have decided to under-go body contouring surgery to remove about 20-30lbs of loose skin which hangs on my body. Though my pictures may seem as if I look normal, two Spanx and skin tight leggings I wear almost daily assist in tucking and hiding all that lose skin. Since I am a full-time college student, studying and preparing for a career in the medical field, most of my funds go towards paying for my education. I save what I can, however emergencies have occured and I have been forced to dip into my savings. I know there are many other people in the world who deserve your donations more than myself, but I would be greatly appreciative of donantions from anyone who understands my story and mindset.

Texting

The end of a game left us with a bitter taste in our mouths this last weekend.  Usually, me and some family members will text each other during the Cowboy games.  It was going in this direction until suddenly, it got quiet on my phone and I realized that the family didn't want to talk about it anymore.  They were pissed because the Cowboy's couldn't pull it out for a win.  It gets that way every season, when the consistent teams folds under pressure.  My family just can't accept that this team isn't what it once was.  Poor Cowboy's!

How often do you think about little girls and the way they play and act? Have you noticed how they take on the atmosphere, of their surroundings? Some play with their dolls, and enjoy the frilly way of life. Nowadays, that life is slowly creeping into the background and a very different type of girl is emerging. Mothers Rings

I have a mother's ring, which was designed by me and paid for by my oldest son.  It was a Mother's Day gift from him several years ago.  It was very special to me back then and today, I'm sure that if children would  buy mothers rings and give them to their Mom's, it would be just as special.  A gift to Mom for Christmas will last for years to come.  Check the website listed in the link above for information and prices.

Yesterday

We got together for Thanksgiving at my sister's home.......since it turned off cold, she decided that she wanted a fire.......my step-dad and Mom came.  I was glad my sister offered to cook this year, it seems that I've been doing that for many years........glad she took the helm.  None of my kids were able to make it out, because of one thing or the other.
All of that was yesterday..........or so it seems.  Mom, and Henry are now gone and we don't get together anymore.  It's just one of those things that happens when families drift apart.

Old Photos

I got a call from my sister this morning, and was able to catch it.  My phone hasn't been doing what it's supposed to, so I was surprised to see her call coming through.
Anyway, she had found some old pictures of family that's no longer with us.  She was in the vicinity and was going to drop them off.  Told her I was here to come on by, that I'd be around.  It was good to see her, since I've been stuck in the house for awhile.  She had a new car again, which adds to the other's she's managed to get in the last few years.
As for the old pic's, I'll try to get some copies made and put them on here randomly.  Keep an eye out for these articles, coming in the near future........

His Birthday

On the 24th my youngest son, had another birthday........41, seems to be awful young to me, since I'm his mother.  He's got alot of learning to do, even at this age.  It is my hope that his experiences will help him maintain his future in a productive manner.

Band Instruments?

It's that time of the year when parents are busy going to football games, played by their children.  The bands which play at the games need instruments to produce the rousing approach spirit the players on the field.  Fight songs are played and even halftime has it's credits with plenty of music.  There are  More  instruments other than marching band instruments to consider when investing in your choice to play.  Mine was a clarinet, back when I was in the high school marching band.  What is your choice of instruments to play?
