friends ~thankyou!

well i`m starting today with a card using my first ever pennyblack stamp, for the "pennyblack saturday challenge". i thought this card was ideal for a card for emma (elf~creations), as i wanted to send her a thankyou ,and some of my new magnolia images, (for sending me this gorgeous card and images below).
for my penny black card i used "everlasting" stamp, papers and ribbon from my stash, quickutz photo corners, then finished with some glitter.


as you can see , emma has sent me me this gorgeous card and images, even a capital "N" with the name nessy!! ~a very big thankyou emma, it is so heart warming to know, at what is being a difficult time , there are still some lovely crafting friends!! a big thankyou and hug!!

last but no means least is this fantastic card from maureen (mycasestudies), my SBS13 card swop partner, the amount of work gone into this card is unbelievable ~thankyou so much maureen, there was also lots and lots of images, including "here`s a scoop" from my favourite things, i did photograph them but cannot find the photo in my pictures (so sorry). thankyou again maureen for your card and images ,i`m so glad you liked mine ,and sorry i didn`t enclose some images!!

this card arrived yesterday morning , and really did brighten my day , for you who know me ,understand things can be difficult with my oldest son aaron (who has aspergers), at the moment he is finding school challengeing ,as he was beaten up by a class "mate" a few weeks ago ,and this boy is still picking on him ,to add to his problems his class teacher has been away for three weeks now , so the class are having a different supply teacher in everyday ~so you can imagine the disruption /excitement , which aaron his finding so diffficult , with others behaviour and noise levels. so yesterday he refused to get out of the car and go to school ,he cried for nearly 2 hours , so upsetting for me , got him into schol , where i did get some help and was able to leave him with the pastral carer. the school did phone me later and said he was having quiet time, with another child who was also finding the classroom challenging!!

lewis is still ill, with a cold/cough virus with a ichy rash all over him!! so i was physically/emotionally exhausted yeasterday , so i`m afraid i didn`t visit any of your blogs yesterday (just cried and enjoyed some chocolate)

cardswop ~SBS 13

well today i am showing my card for maureen, for the SBS13 card swop , which angie and jo organised with the theme "wings and things". i can now show this card , as maureen has now received it. if you click on the photo you can see i have used a high hopes stamp, fence, magnolia tree, lakeland papers, dove craft stamps, basic grey stamp and then finished with glitter. dark hair and card swops!!!

another day another challenge, today i am showing my scrapbook page for "my time to craft" challange, which this week the theme is "dark hair"!! well seeing as we all have dark hair in this family , what better, than photos of my two boys when they were born!!! really cannot tell them apart , only the different coloured bowl gives a clue!! used my brenda pinnick kit again, and dies cuts from quickutz and sizzix. and the writing on the computer!!

also today it is time for jo (only joking) and myself to hand over the next card swop to jo(fairymad) and angie (angiec ~ crafting)!!
jo and myself launched the last card swop on the 12th april, so hopefully you have now all made your cards and sent them. thankyou all for taking part , i`m sure we were all very pleased with the cards we received, and how exciting it is to open some post from a friend!.
i`m sure fairymad jo and angie will be getting in touch soon , with plans for the next swop and your partners name.

card swop SBS13~ (sheila & mine)

well no challenge today!! just sheila`s and my card swop cards in our SBS13 group!!
thankyou sheila for this gorgeous card and ATC ~( never handled an ATC before!!) as you can see sheila had made a card , she knew i would love, pinks, flowers and a bit of "bling"!! and the ATC is sooooo sheila , those oranges and gold tones!! they are both pride of place in my living room!! roll on the next card swop , such a great way to send a made card and make friends!!


now here is my card sent to sheila!! not as big , but i can say still made with care and attention, with sheila in mind!!! a new stamp i was saving to use just for this card!! funny we both used pennyblack cats!! i was also writing a comment on sheilas blog when the card came through my door yesterday morning!!
may not be around much today , as ..... yes lewis is unwell again , developed a high fever yesterday afternoon , so as you can guess i have had very little sleep last night, looking after him, keeping him cool, guess i will be "nurse nessy" again when he comes down, paul is with him while i get aaron sorted for school!! (shift work!!) LOL i do hope i get chance to pop on your blogs, if not hope you understand! ( little sick four year olds come first)
