teachers bookmarks

well not been around much this week , and the last few days not been near the computer , so sorry for no postings or leaving comments on your blogs , but paul has had this week off ~so we have been out and about all week with the boys!! i am now exhausted!!
apart from no blogging i have have not done any crafting ,but remembered i have some pictures of the cards for the boys teachers i can show today!!
above are the bookmarks i made , using many magnolia images, papers from my stash, and dove craft stamps. below are two of the finished cards (and envelopes) showing the front pockets i have made to hold the bookmarks.

here are all 8 cards that i made, (click for a closer look)that the boys took to school on the last day of term.

i must now , go and look at all your comments and go visit as many as i can ,before i get pulled way to do something else!!

magic of being a boy!

thought i would have a go at another challenge!! simple sketch - cannot go wrong there!!! so here again is another magnolia -used wizard edwin!! on this card i used masculine dovecraft papers, quickutz alphabet,and then some blue, cream ribbon, some very small gold stars and last but not least some glitter!! ( card for my sons birthday i think!!)
well been busy with lots of crafty jobs , finishing my easter cards (think i`m there now) and just painted some cookie pots (from tesco`s -had to buy some more this week as need more pots !!) to decorate, which will hold my ribbons, flowers and maybe buttons!!!! seeing as they seem to be creeping their way into my crafting box!! (that would make my husband laugh -"crafting box!! ~i mean crafting cupboard , shelving and many ,many boxes!!!)
think i will carry on with my pots today ~ need to do some thing different than cards!!

magnolia mothers day cards!!

well here i am day 6 of my blog!! hanging in there!!

as promised i did get my crafting things out -and YES i did some crafting! -mothers day cards!!

i had made these cards a few weeks ago , just need to do the insides and envelopes!!(as mothers day has crept up on me much to fast!!)

i made two small envelopes, with liners, and small cards in pink card using my quickutz revolution dies and printed out small inserts!! saying our mums had - a years subscriptions to their fave magazines!!

then got out my new studio G stamps, to decorate the inside of the cards and envelopes !! then added some glitter!!

the front of the cards used dovecraft glamour paper, party tilda-magnolia stamp, papermania adhesive stones, outline stickers says "happy mothersday" and stickles glitter!!

while lewis is at nursery today, i hope to stamp some more magnolias and paint them!! (with hot milky coffee latte and some tesco`s chocolate orange sticks(from the fridge)!! oooooooh heaven!!!-just for two hours!!!
