Saturated Canary - Puppy Love

Good Morning blog friends.

I hope you are all well and having a lovely weekend.

I am so pleased to have finally made a card with the Saturated Canary - Puppy love image which I coloured following the tutorial by Tracey Payne at Kit and Clowder. This image has a boy alongside her but I cropped the girl and just used her.

I have coloured her with Distress Markers and thoroughly enjoyed colouring her.  I am really looking forward to the class on colouring with Pencils which is apparently in the making.

A full product list with a link to the online store will be at the bottom on the post.

I have used a large circle die folded in half to create the shape.
Behind the image is a doily die by Xcut.

I have added a lace and pearl trim to the edge of the card.  The flowers are from LLC and LOTV.

The sentiment tags are from LOTV.

The heart in the middle of the butterfly is from LLC.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

In the Pink - Fancy fold (In Pink)

What a relief!!!

Good morning blogger friends.

Just showing you a card I made for my daughter Sophie who passed her driving test.

It was the third time she had taken her test and because she wanted to use her own card for the driving test I had to sit in the back of the car. My goodness, I am so pleased she passed because I don't think my nerves could have gone through it twice. She is a very good driver but I wanted to make every manoeuvre for her.

I have used an image from Saturated Canary called Keys, Please

Inlinkz is under maintenance so I will add the links at the bottom of the page later today.

I have coloured the image with Inktense Pencils. The papers are from a challenge win from Whimsey Stamp.

The flowers are from WOC and LLC. The pearl string is from The Hobby House and of course I have used my favourite butterfly die from Doo Hickey. The heart lace is from LLC.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Emerald Faerie - Thing with wings
Crafting from the Hearts - Anything goes
Paper Makeup Stamps - Anything goes

Thank you all for stopping by and leaving me a comment. I will try and visit you all this evening but my list of card makes is mounting up and I really need to put a dent in them.

Have a wonderful week.

Hugs Sharon. x

A bit of Ouch, Sadness, frustration and a card, so not all bad!!!

Good Evening friends.

I would first like to apologise for being a bad blogger this week. As this title suggests it has been a week of  emotional  ups and downs and though I have been looking at your wonderful blogs I have not been commenting. My arm is no better - still got that trapped nerve which is making my fingers numb and making it difficult to make cards so I am relying on cards I have under my belt but not posted yet.

Secondly, my very dear friend Denise,  lost her husband of only 17 months to cancer. They had been together for many years but got married just 17 months ago. The cancer was only diagnosed 12 weeks ago but he sadly lost his brave fight last Monday. Steph was a wonderful man and would put a smile on anyone's face. They were so happy and Denise just doesn't know how she will ever be happy again. Denise lost her mum last year and then her faithful Labrador only weeks later. How much sadness does someone have to bear. I can feel myself welling up just writing this - a lot of waterproof mascara going to be needed on Wednesday.

Thirdly and I could use some very choice words here, my computer was hacked. Luckily I was prompted  by Bev Rochester who was in my contact list and I got on the phone to Microsoft.  They very quickly sorted the problem and deleted any malicious programmes or whatever they put on. My computer is now hopefully secure enough for them to not cause problems. If anyone in my contact list had problems due to this I am truly sorry. Like I said I could use some choice words.

Any way, on a very much lighter note - a card. I have use the adorable Roses are Red, Violets are Blue from Saturated Canary.

The image has been coloured using Copic Markers ( I have been very Brave here and attempted black hair - could be better but it could also be worse)!!! The papers are from Nitwit Collections.

The sentiment is a free download from Scrap-a-liscious. She has some fabulous sentiments and well worth a visit.

The flowers are from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop and WOC as are the hat pins. The ribbon is also from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop which unfortunately closing.
The image has Aged Silver and Shabby White Frantage surrounding her.
The butterfly is from Memory Box  and is called Darla and Vivienne.

I would love to enter this card into the following challenges

The ABC Challenge - Open

A new challenge at Dream Valley

Good morning blogger friends.

Today sees a new challenge over at Dream Valley.  We are being sponsored by the fabulous Saturated Canary and the theme is lace and pearls. The DT members have some wonderful  cards to inspire you so please head on over there and enter this fabulous challenge.

Before I show you today's card I thought I would share with you the crafty stash I purchased at the NEC.

I thought I would make my journey worthwhile seen as at one point didn't think we would make it. Russ decided that he would top the car up with oil before we left. A mile or so down the motorway smoke was billowing out of the exhaust. We carried on a few miles and it subsided. Our car then started juddering and losing speed whilst in 5th gear. We turned into the  hard shoulder and cruised along until we reached a service station so that I could ring the garage for advice. They told us that the problem would be too much oil and it would eventually burn the surplass oil and be fine. All I kept thinking was please let us get to the NEC. Sure enough when we set  off the car was fine but we were then faced with delays due to an accident.
We eventually made it and as I said earlier - I made the trip worthwhile. I actually didn't buy anything on my shopping list which was ribbon and embellishments. Never mind.

So, on to my challenge card. I have used the gorgeous Saturated Canary's Parade

I have coloured the image with a combination of Copic and Pro Markers. The papers are from Nitwit Collections.

The butterfly, clouds and flower die are both Memory Box available from many on-line stores.

I have recently bought the Scor Bug Embosser which I love. No more worries about straight lines using as sewing machine.

The lace and pearls are from my own stash.

I am entering this card into the following challenges
Card Makin Mamas - Spring
Sweet Pea Stampers - Spring Colours
CMC Copic Challenge. - Spring Colours
One Stop Craft Challenge - Recipe

Party Hardy

Hello again.

Thankfully I am getting ahead in making some cards so I thought I would post two today. I have had a day on my laptop entering some challenges and setting up a pinterest board. It is a bit sparse at the moment buy will hopefully put up a few more pins before the day is out.

My second card of the day I made for our Daughter's 21st Birthday.

Party Hardy.

The image is from Saturated Canary and is called "Party Hardy" and is drawn by the very talented Krista Smith. She has been coloured with Pro Markers.
The card blank is from Craftwork Cards. The papers are by Sassy Design and at the moment there is a massive 51% off. The Catalina Wreath die and the butterfly are by Memory Box and are available from many online stores.

The flowers are by WOC and the leaf die is a Spellbinders die.

The sentiment is computer generated. Diamond Sparkles have been added to the image.

A close up a the little darling.
I really must get organised and make a note of all the colouring mediums I use so that I can post the colours I use.

I have entered this card into the following challenges

Songbird Challenge - Anything goes
The Stamp Man Challenge - Anything goes, summer colours
Delightful sketches challenge - Birthday
Stamping with the Dragon -  Summer colours

Thank you

Good morning to you.

Hope you are all well and enjoying this well needed sun. Sure does make you feel better.
I am so chuffed because this week I was picked for the top three at the Stamptacular Challenge Blog and won some crafty goodies from Copic Marker Europe. I guess I can no longer say that I never win anything!!!

For my fourth challenge over at Papertake Weekly I have made a card using another Saturated Canary image by Krista Smith called "Thank you". That lady is so so talented. This weeks challenge has been sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and the challenge is to make something for your card.

Thank You

For this card I made the flower from my spellbinders, computer generated the sentiment and coloured the ribbon with my Pro Markers.

The card blank is from Craftwork Cards and the papers are a download from Sassy Designs. I love blue and brown together and wait for it - there is a massive 94% of papers at the moment which means that most of the paper packs are only 25p!!! Did I fill my boots with these.

Gosh she is so Sweet.

She has been coloured with Pro Markers. The die at the top of the card is called Cherish Border from Memory Box and is available at many online stores.  The flower die and leaf are by Spellbinders.

The ribbon is from my own stash and has been coloured with a Pro Marker to match the coloured image.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit me here in blogland. Your comments are always appreciated and a big thank you to my followers.

I am entering this card into the following challenges

Totally Papetcrafts - Colour theme (Blue and Brown)
Divas by design - Anything goes

See you soon and take care. x
