Chipboard letter.

Good Morning.

It has been a while since I posted as we are in the middle of renovating our front and back gardens. We still have a long way to go but a lot of the hard work has been completed thanks to the digger we hired. It certainly made easy work of knocking our garage down.

I would like to share with you today my latest project using a Chipboard letter.
I tried to add elements which tie in with the card I made previously as it is for the same lady.

The letter has been decorated on both sides so please scroll down to see the other side.

The papers are from a paper pad by Lili of the Valley but they are no longer available. They can be bought however from Nitwit Collections as a digital download - just follow the link below. All the buttons are from my stash.

All the flowers have been made using Foamiran, Rosy Owl, Whimsy Stamp Dies and coloured with Pentel Oil Pastels.

Paper has been added to the bottom of the Scrapiniec film strip chipboard and I added the cute Bubble Bee.

Below is the other side to my letter.

The bunting has been made using Katie Sue Designs Silicon mould and air drying clay.
The gorgeous lace is Allyce.
Of course a card made by myself is not complete with a butterfly or two. These have been made using to layers from the stitched butterfly dies by LDRS.

More flowers above and below using the Foamiran and dies.

Thank you all for stopping by today.

Have a lovely week.

Hugs Sharon. x

Whimsy Stamp - Baby Ellie

Good morning.
I would like to share with you another card using the adorable digital image Baby Ellie from Whimsy Stamp, isn't she the cutest?

I have coloured the image with Prismacolor Pencils.

The papers are Country Meadow, a digital download by NitWit Collections.

To add a touch of softness I added Cheesecloth and some gorgeous lace to which I added pearl string.
I cannot remember where I bought the It's a Girl chipboard but I will add it soon as I can source it.

The two layers of Stitched Butterflies and the Stitched Flags are by LDRS.

I would like to enter the following challenges.

Whimsy Stamps Challenge - Anything Goes
The Cutie Pie Challenge (Charm, Ribbon, Pearls)  - Bingo
Papernest Dolls - Anything Goes
Crafty Calendar - Totally Girlie

Thank you for stopping by today.

I will be back later on in the week with a decorated letter which is for the same little girl as this card.

I hope you have a wonderful week and for those who are loving the football as I am fingers crossed we reach the final.

See you soon.

Hugs Sharon. x

A new challenge over at Besties

Morning friends.

Hope you have all had an enjoyable weekend. I went along to the Stamp Magic show in Doncaster yesterday so I am looking forward to a play today.

Today sees the start of a new challenge over at the Besties Challenge Blog. The Challenge this week is to use at least 2 dies on your project. I love being part of this fabulous DT but what a dilemma deciding on which adorable Bestie to colour.

For this challenge I have used image 826 which can be found here at Sherry's Etsy shop or here at the Scrapbook Stamp Society.

I have coloured  the image in with Polychromo Pencils apart from the hair which I have coloured using Spectrum Noir.  I am quite liking these Spectrum Noirs. I won a £15 voucher from Natalie and Amy and decided that because some of the colours in my copics are running out I would try them as they are quite a lot cheaper. I am quite impressed so far.

The papers are Perfect Pear from Nitwit Collections.  Surrounding the image is Frantage in Shabby Pink and Shabby White.
The flowers are from WOC. The twirly glittery embellishment I made myself using wire and glitter.
The butterfly border is from Tim Holtz which has had Frantage added and are overlayed with a butterfly punch from my stash.
The ribbon die is by Memory Box and the Fishtails are a Die-Namics die.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

Totally Papercrafts - 3 or more punches and dies.
The Hobby House - Anything Goes
Digi Haven - Anything Goes
Flutterby Wednesday - Anything goes with butterfly
Crafty Friends - Bingo (Pink pearls, flowers)
My Mums Craft Shop - Dies dies dies

Big hugs to my followers both old and new. I will visit you all today for some serious blog hopping.

A bit of Ouch, Sadness, frustration and a card, so not all bad!!!

Good Evening friends.

I would first like to apologise for being a bad blogger this week. As this title suggests it has been a week of  emotional  ups and downs and though I have been looking at your wonderful blogs I have not been commenting. My arm is no better - still got that trapped nerve which is making my fingers numb and making it difficult to make cards so I am relying on cards I have under my belt but not posted yet.

Secondly, my very dear friend Denise,  lost her husband of only 17 months to cancer. They had been together for many years but got married just 17 months ago. The cancer was only diagnosed 12 weeks ago but he sadly lost his brave fight last Monday. Steph was a wonderful man and would put a smile on anyone's face. They were so happy and Denise just doesn't know how she will ever be happy again. Denise lost her mum last year and then her faithful Labrador only weeks later. How much sadness does someone have to bear. I can feel myself welling up just writing this - a lot of waterproof mascara going to be needed on Wednesday.

Thirdly and I could use some very choice words here, my computer was hacked. Luckily I was prompted  by Bev Rochester who was in my contact list and I got on the phone to Microsoft.  They very quickly sorted the problem and deleted any malicious programmes or whatever they put on. My computer is now hopefully secure enough for them to not cause problems. If anyone in my contact list had problems due to this I am truly sorry. Like I said I could use some choice words.

Any way, on a very much lighter note - a card. I have use the adorable Roses are Red, Violets are Blue from Saturated Canary.

The image has been coloured using Copic Markers ( I have been very Brave here and attempted black hair - could be better but it could also be worse)!!! The papers are from Nitwit Collections.

The sentiment is a free download from Scrap-a-liscious. She has some fabulous sentiments and well worth a visit.

The flowers are from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop and WOC as are the hat pins. The ribbon is also from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop which unfortunately closing.
The image has Aged Silver and Shabby White Frantage surrounding her.
The butterfly is from Memory Box  and is called Darla and Vivienne.

I would love to enter this card into the following challenges

Crafty Friends Challenge - Anything Goes
The ABC Challenge - Open
Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Anything Goes - Add Texture (Frantage)
Sister Act - Anything Goes
The Rubber Buggy Challenge - Anything Goes
Creatalicious Challenge - For the Girls
Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Anything Goes
Fab n Funky - Girls
Allsorts Challenge - Here Come The Girls

I have use and image from Sassy Cheryl called Cupcake Fun. There are three digi's in this collection - a cupcake and Teddy, a cupcake and mouse and a cupcake on its own.

I thought outside to box with this cupcake and added white flower soft to the image which I coloured in parts with Copics before adding cake decorations and glitter. This gives it a bit more dimension than using just colour.

Have a lovely week. I will be blogging this evening for good old catch up. Welcome to my new followers, you are all very much appreciated and I feel honoured you like visiting.

A New Challenge over at Diva's by Design

Good morning blogger friends.
Today see's a new challenge at Diva's by Design. We are being sponsored by Delicious Doodles and the theme for this challenge is Spring Colours. I guess Fairy Fae was a very popular choice because at the time of writing this post myself and my teamies have all used the same image. Tale a peek and hopefully be inspired to enter this challenge.

Have you all had a wonderful relaxing Easter. I have loved having 4 days off though I have only managed to get into my craft room today. We have replaced our rotten fence this weekend so that Abbie can be let out into the garden. I must say she is loving it. She is growing at such an alarming rate - will post some pics very soon.
So, on to my card. I must confess, this is the second image I have coloured because on the first I got that carried away colouring her gorgeous locks that I didn't notice I had coloured part of her skin as hair!!!
She was a joy to colour.

I have coloured the image with Copics and glittered the wings with Diamond Sparkles.

The papers are from Nitwit Collections called Always and Forever. They are my newest crafty purchase and I love them - will be getting many an outing I would say.

A new challenge at Dream Valley

Good morning blogger friends.

Today sees a new challenge over at Dream Valley.  We are being sponsored by the fabulous Saturated Canary and the theme is lace and pearls. The DT members have some wonderful  cards to inspire you so please head on over there and enter this fabulous challenge.

Before I show you today's card I thought I would share with you the crafty stash I purchased at the NEC.

I thought I would make my journey worthwhile seen as at one point didn't think we would make it. Russ decided that he would top the car up with oil before we left. A mile or so down the motorway smoke was billowing out of the exhaust. We carried on a few miles and it subsided. Our car then started juddering and losing speed whilst in 5th gear. We turned into the  hard shoulder and cruised along until we reached a service station so that I could ring the garage for advice. They told us that the problem would be too much oil and it would eventually burn the surplass oil and be fine. All I kept thinking was please let us get to the NEC. Sure enough when we set  off the car was fine but we were then faced with delays due to an accident.
We eventually made it and as I said earlier - I made the trip worthwhile. I actually didn't buy anything on my shopping list which was ribbon and embellishments. Never mind.

So, on to my challenge card. I have used the gorgeous Saturated Canary's Parade

I have coloured the image with a combination of Copic and Pro Markers. The papers are from Nitwit Collections.

The butterfly, clouds and flower die are both Memory Box available from many on-line stores.

I have recently bought the Scor Bug Embosser which I love. No more worries about straight lines using as sewing machine.

The lace and pearls are from my own stash.

I am entering this card into the following challenges
Card Makin Mamas - Spring
Sweet Pea Stampers - Spring Colours
CMC Copic Challenge. - Spring Colours
One Stop Craft Challenge - Recipe
