Three Penguins Ornament

Three Penguins by Scott Church is another one of the ornaments finished by Cindy McKown.

 

Finished!

I finished the bodies in Petite Very Velvet.  The baby is worked in Wisper.  Then I added crystal snow flakes.  All done!

Bodies

I am stitching the bodies all in basketweave using Petite Very Velvet.

A Tree

The hats are finished except the tassles, the faces are stitched in Petite Very Velvet, and

the tree is stitched with a horizontal Parisian using Boucle.

Next

I finished all the snow and have added some hats and scarves in Petite Very Velvet.

Snow

I am continuing with two strands of Accentuate 300 but switched to Nobuko stitch for the snow.

The sky

The sky is stitched with a double strand of Accentuate 300 in a darning pattern.  Sorry the bling doesn't show up better.
