This one glows!

What a witch! is back from Sue Parsons at West Coast Finishing.  The ruffled edge pillow has candy corn ribbon on the front and all of the black and white fabric actually glows in the dark!  Since I used glow in the dark threads, I found the fabric that glows too at JoAnn Fabrics!

I have finished the stitch guide for What a Witch!  by Jude and it is available directly from me.

I added the candy corn in more glow in the dark threads to finish this design!

And a broom!

I stitched the broom handle in glow in the dark and wrapped the straw on the broom with some more!

Glowing Words

I have started stitching the words.  And, I am using Glow in the Dark threads.  Above is regular light

and below is with the lights off!

All the hats

The witches hats are all beaded.  These are not glow in the dark but really bright!

Background

Marathon background and it is done!  On to the fun stuff!

More black and

I added more rows of the horizontal background and beaded the two hats on the right.  I put white behind the piece today so you could see the background better, but it lightened up the beading.

Background, step two

I am going to tack all of the vertical threads with a woven darning pattern.  Gives a lot of shine to the background but not too busy!

I am starting with the background on this one.  I did baste the outside edges to make it easier for laying in the threads.

What a witch!

I put this on the stretcher bars and am gathering threads and beads to start on this design by Jude.  It is going to be a stitched 8.5 x 9 design that is on black 18 count.
