In the box!

The Pansies by Trish Burr fit just perfectly in the Sudberry box!

Done!

The stitching is all done on the Pansies!  I am going to put this in a box top.

Little by little

The two side petals of the front pansy are done.  These only use five shades of the floss.  Yesterday's petal really did have six colors and one white in it!  These went faster as I was not changing the thread in the needle so ofen.

The back petal

I got back to stitching and got the back petal of the front pansy done.  There are 7 colors of floss in this petal!  You notice I did not do the face on the white one?  I am going to do both of the centers at the same time when I finish this one.

All but the face

I finished the rest of the white petals on pansy #2 and have just the face to finish on this one.

First White

This is the start of the first "white" pansy.....there is a lot of white, but also three shades of yellow and one yellow green.

One down...

The back pansy is finished.  I split outline stitched the white pansy on the left and have started on two of the petals.

More Petals

I finished the second back petal, then the third one, added the sepal in the center and am working on the final petal on the back petal. 

First

The first large pansy now has the first petal done.....Even though the sun is shining today, it is still difficult to differentiate that there are 4 colors in the petal!  I have also split outlined the rest of the petals.

Two buds

I completed the two buds and sepals.  This is all being needle painted with a single strand of floss.  the top bud has 3 colors or purple and 3 greens while the bottom bud has 2 purples and 3 greens.  Hard to tell I know because it is dark....The next ones should be lighter!

Pansies

Time to add in something not canvas!  Trish Burr's Pansies is a needlepainting kit and today I completed all of the stems....not sure why the bottom left corner is dark, but they are going to be cheery....

Pulling from the stash

This is called Pansies and is by Trish Burr and is a needlepainted design that has been languishing in my stash pile for a while.  Time to frame it up and get it in the rotation!
