Nutcracker finishing

The Nutcracker by JB Designs came back from the finisher.  Cindy McKown did such a cute job with this guy!

 

Finished!

All of the hairy bits are worked with Angora and he is finished!

Boots

The boots are all done in Petite Very Velvet and the gray line is floss!  The pants are done in the wool and Kreinik highlights.  Just the eyebrows, mustache, beard and hair to go.

The jacket

I finished the blue on his jacket, did the cuffs and his hands.

The Crown and Epaulets!

The gold and black crown is finished as are the gold epaulets on the jacket!

I am back!

Been a little crazy here of late, but I am back to getting some stitching time.  I ripped out all the gold Coronet as I ran out.  I have replaced it all with Treasure Braid and moved on to filling in the black with Petite Very Velvet.  Oh, and I remember that working on black even in broad daylight is not my fav!
