I wasn't intending to share a card today, because I wanted to do a quick post to get the winner notified. But I couldn't resist sharing a card that uses one of the fab ribbons from Fantastic Ribbon.
So, I know I'm terrible for keeping y'all on the edge of your seat, waiting to find out who the winner is .... but here's my card, using cute little Linda ballerina from StampFairy :
Inside of card :
Card Recipe:
- Image - Stamp Fairy Linda Ballerina and freebie ballet shoes
- Sentiment - One of my own Freebies
- Papers - Coney Island by Robyn's Fetish
- Colouring mediums - Promarkers and Dovecraft Shimmer chalks for shadow
- Nesties - Fleur De Lis Squares & Lacey Circles for sentiment
- 10mm & 15mm roses - Wild Orchid Crafts
- Flat backed pearls - The Works
- Ribbons - who else, of course Fantastic Ribbon
So, without further ado, the lucky random winner drawn is ......
Drum roll please .....
who actually gave not just one tip, but two!! She said :
Hi Netty!
Love your cards, and also your freebie sentiments.
As quite a new cardmaker I've only used ribbons in two ways so far.
1) tie a bow using the Bow Maker on my Crafter's Companion Ultimate Pro - sooooo easy and gives a great result!
2) just wrapping 1 or a layer of 2 different sized and/or coloured ribbons around my card.
Thanks for the chance to win your Blog Candy - hope I'm lucky :o)

Meanwhile, I'm off to find myself one of those bowmaker thingies !!!
Thanks to everyone for entering, and also many many thanks to Keith at Fantastic Ribbons for sponsoring my Birthday Candy. It was great to meet you in person at the Westpoint Creative Stitches show recently and thank you personally.
