Have a Fangtastic Day

Today's project is a clean and simple Halloween card.

I stamped this cute little vampire from the My Creative Time Fangtastic Day mini set and then cut out with the matching die. I cut a frame from the Simon Says Quadrangle Frame die from black cardstock and after attaching to the cardbase and patterned paper strip, I attached the image inside of it using foam tape to pop him up. The sentiment from was stamped using Versafine ink directly onto the card base. I then stamped the bats from The Cat's Pajamas Vintage Halloween set and added a few black and purple enamel dots. The patterned paper came from my old scrapbook stash.

Batty for You

Today's card is a Halloween card for my granddaughter and features the colors from the Curtain Call - Going Batty Inspiration Challenge.

My seven year old granddaughter is crazy about the Hotel Transylvania movies. I've had to watch the first one more times than I care to because of that obsession. So of course vampires and bats are perfect for her Halloween card this year. I stamped the cute little vampire from the My Creative Time Fangtastic Day mini set and then fussy cut out (totally forgetting that there was a matching die). I then cut the bats from patterned paper using a die from the Paper Smooches Halloween Icons set. I cut a circle out from the top cardstock layer and craft foam with a Lil Inker Designs Stitched Mat and then backed the circle with yellow cardstock that was dry embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. I sandwiched the vampire between the top and craft foam layer using foam tape behind his head for stability and then added the bats inside the circle. After stamping the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Spooky Sentiments directly onto the top layer, I attached the piece onto a black card base and added a trio of buttons.

Products: My Creative Time stamp, Reverse Confetti stamp, Doodlebug dp, Bazzill cs, PTI cs and buttons,  Cuttlebug embossing folder, Paper Smooches die,  Lil Inker Designs die, Copic Markers

Thankful for You

I have clean and layered style card today with a Fall/Thanksgiving theme which was created for The Card Concept #40/Forest Friends Challenge.

I stamped the tree stump, leafy branches and forest animals from the My Creative Time Fall Friends set and then cut out with the matching dies. After coloring the various pieces with Copic Markers, I grouped them together onto a kraft cardstock rectangle that was de-bossed with a couple of dies from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaves set. It was attached to a Rustic White card stock piece embossed with a Taylored Expression embossing folder. The piece was then attached to another kraft piece cut with an MFT die and then adhered to a Slate Gray card base. The sentiment from the set was stamped onto another Slate Gray piece with Versamark ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Products: My Creative Time Stamps and Dies, PTI and Simon Says cs, Taylored Expressions Embossing Folder, Lawn Fawn and MFT dies, Versamark ink, Copic Markers
