Day 21. Inspired by BLUE

I was truly inspired this time!
As soon as I saw the theme I instantly had an idea: each nail different, but all including dark blue Pure Ice French Kiss.

Lets start from the thumb: half of the nail theme color and the other half Basic Beauty no.71.
Point finger: half of the nail  Hot Topic medium blue matt polish with the other half in the theme color.
Middle finger: theme color as a base and Essence Blue Addicted on top.
Ring finger: China Glaze Sea Spray with theme dots. By the way I looove Sea Spray and I recommend it to all light blue lovers- one coater with stunning shimmer...
Pinky: just theme color.

The result is a bit complicated, but special mani. So many people noticed it and I always take it as a good sign.

What's your opinion? Is it too much?
Did I put on too many polishes or do they fit in just fine?
Please comment more, dear readers, even if you don't like it, I'll take it as an advice and try to improve next time, but without comments I might start to think noone reads this littlle blog of mine :(
And special thanks to the ones who comment regularly, they'll know who I'm talking to...

Basic Beauty no.71

Another great color from a rather uknown polish brand: Basic Beauty.
Beside the fact that their colors are named with numbers there's nothing really to complain about.
The quality is pretty good for the price, they dry super fast, colors are amazing and two coats are more than enough.
I would recommend them to every polish lover.

Here are the photos, first in the shade:

And now see how the foil finish sparkles in the sun!

Basic Beauty no.109

I bought this wondeful shade of jelly green when Basic Beauty polishes were on sale in Limoni perfume shops in Croatia. Believe it or not, this beauty was only 2$!!!

The color is somewhere between Rescue Beauty Lounge Recycle and Orly Enchanted Forest.
I was considering buying Enchynted Forest for some time, but the shade didn't excite me just enough. The color was too dark, too dull.

And then I saw this Beauty! For me it's the perfect dark green jelly: not too dark that it looks black, but jet dark enough that it doesn't scream green!

I was in a big hurry putting this polish on so I did two extra thick layers, but what surprised me mostly about this polish is it's quality at such a low price: it didn't bubble and it was dry in ten minutes!

'Nuf talk, let's see this gorgeous!
First picture show the polish's lightest version (lots of sunlight), and the last one is the darkest (and the most accurate one).

Speaking of too dark greens, altough every polish blogger craves for Nars Zulu, I always thought that it looks more black than green, that was the main reason why green-lover like me didn't already buy it at some ridiculous price from ebay.
Wow, am I happy I waited now, and didn't buy it. Because I've found my perfect jelly green now and my quest is over!

Too all of you that love greens and are able to buy this in you country I advise: hurry up and get it! :)

Catrice Sweets for my sweets + BM + Basic Beauty 43.

This is my first Barbie-pink polish and I was in love with the polish in the bottle. However, it takes him about three layers to achieve minimum opacity. Four coats would have been better, but I had no more time so I settled for three, hence the Bundle monster pattern, to cover any bald spots that were left.

As I am spoiled by now with all the polishes I got that are fully opaque in two layers, especially Catrice's polishes, I have to say I'm not really impressed with this one. It's pretty watery and I have no patience waiting between layers so I don't get bubbles.

I added a top coat of my new layering polish with pink micro shimmer. The brand is called Basic Beauty, color is 43. (again, without a name) and I love how it 'smoothens' the BM pattern and adds extra glow to this mani.
Yes, the color is pretty and sweet, and I love the way it looks on my nails. But that's it. I'm still in search of my 'it' pink polish. Any reccomendations?

I started to post extra large photos since I love to see details in manicures that I see in the other blogs. I hope my manis aren't that bad anymore and that I don't have to hide small details, altough you're definitelly find some flaws. I just hope you won't mind them.  :)
What do you think about larger photos?
Yes or no?

And here's one extra photos of another spring sight that inspired me for this girly color and made my day: wild apple in my backyard.

Enjoy your day, excuse me for not writing more often, but my college has gone wild again so, at the moment, this is the best I can do.
