Color Club Halo Hues: Beyond, Cosmic Fate & Cherubic

The urge to blog has just not been there lately, which is why I've been patchy and MIA with the posts :(
I just don't really have anything to say and I'm loathe to just post swatches without any words. Maybe that'll have to change?

Hope all of you are doing swell though!!! I've got some Color Club holos to show you today.

Color Club Beyond

First off, Beyond is a black linear holo. It's not as grey as the photos betray, but it isn't anything like a jet black either. It is moderately strongly holographic though.

Color Club Cosmic Fate

Cosmic Fate is a copper-peach hued linear holo. Check out the flash photo, seriously prismatic! She might actually be one of the strongest holos I own.

Color Club Cherubic

Cherubic is a nude/beige metallic holographic which is insanely prismatic also. I love these coloured holos, they feel office appropriate, yet I get that giddy feeling wearing them because a rainbow is never far away!

The formula for all of these is fantastic; buttery with absolutely zero dragging or unevenness to deal with. You can get away with one coat if you're in a hurry and I used two for the photos.

Piper Polish overload!

Press Sample

(L-R) Orange'ya Glad It's Spring?, Temptress, Fusion, Dark Star, Teenage Wasteland, Perfect Addition, Iron Maiden

I have a total of seven polishes from Piper Polish Co. to show you today. Most of these are new or soon to be released by Erin, the woman behind Piper!

I've blogged about Piper Polish in the past, but for those of you who are new to the brand, here is a little blurb from Erin herself,

" I have always been obsessed with nail polish but never was able to find colors that I really loved. I would always think up things I would add or mix to make them "different". I started experimenting with my loose shadows, powders etc. and was amazed that I could actually make something that was pretty close to nail polish!!! Once I found the proper ingredients, that was it, I was hooked. In order to support my obsession, I decided to try to sell my creations. After all, I only have 10 fingers and 10 toes and my wallet is unfortunately not bottomless. Fast forward a year and here I am! I still love thinking up new creations and trying to crack the code on old favorites. What I love most of all is the interaction with my customers. I just love how open, friendly and welcoming everyone I have encountered has been so far."

Now, on to the polish.

Pretty Serious Twinkling Lights

Back from the unplanned hiatus. Been uninspired and sick and it's really taken a kick in the lady parts to get back in to this!
What have all my wonderful readers been up to?!

BTW not sure I announced the winner of the Born Pretty Store $20 voucher giveaway, but the lady in question was notified and received her voucher from BPS a week or so ago. Congratulations, and better luck next time to everyone who entered.

Today I bring you a pretty glitter from Pretty Serious Cosmetics (pretty fitting, no? ok I'll stop now).

Pretty Serious Twinkling Lights over Orly High On Hope

Twinkling Lights is a glitter topper consisting of small copper/bronze and ultra-fine navy blue glitter. It's very simple and yet it's bloody great. The consistency is perfect and the ratio of copper to blue is spot on too. I layered two thin coats over High On Hope and I'm loving the pink shimmer that glows on through!! The glitter lays very flat too so you'll only need one layer of top coat (I think I used Jordana Quick Shine).

Sadly it's sold out on the website but I'm sure it'll be restocked in the not so distant future.

Bye for now,
