Well, this is NOT my manicure, but something I digged up on Pinterest, which I'm, btw, not using. I liked the black and silver combo, and I wasn't in a mood for anything too demanding... summer laziness, what can I tell you . Here's my version:

Dakle, ovo NIJE moja manikura, već jedna iskopana s Pinteresta, koji ja, usputbudirečeno, ne koristim. Svidjela mi se srebrno-crna kombinacija, a baš i nisam bila raspoložena za nešto prezahtjevno... što da Vam kažem - fjaka je u zraku . Evo i moje verzije:

I got the suggestion do recreate some of manicures that we could see on Oscars red carpet. All ladies there looked very stylish, elegant, feminine... but when it comes to manicure - they were all boring. Obviously, I'm not type of girl who wears just polish on nails, especially if that polish is inconspicuous. But, here's good news - one of the ladies had lovely, I'd say even bold manicure because she really was standing out of sea of nude and neutral manicures. 

Dobila sam sugestiju da rekreiram neku od manikura koje su se šetale na ovogodišnjoj dodjeli Oscara. Sve su tete tamo bile elegantne, ženstvene, odjevene sa stilom... ali kad su manikure u pitanju - ma bile su dosadne! Očito da nisam tip žene koja na noktima ima samo lak, naročito ako je taj lak neprimjetan. Ali, nade ipak ima, jedna od teta koje su tamo šetale je imala zgodnu, rekla bih čak i hrabru manikuru jer se baš izdvajala iz mora neutralnih i diskretnih manikura.

Matching Manicure Sunday #14 - Penguins on Nimbus

I did my manicure this morning, but was out all day. Still, there's few more hours left for sharing it.

Manikuru sam odradila jutros, ali čitav dan sam provela vani, tko ne bi po ovako krasnom danu... stvarno, već par dana sam vani, uživam na suncu dok ga još ima. Ostalo je još par sati za djeljenje manikure pa da i to iskoristim. 

I'm not quite happy with the nimbus part of this manicure, I even manage to smear my penguins... but, everything still looks cute. Will you agree with me?

Nisam baš najsretnija s nimbus dijelom manikure, čak sam i jednog pingvina uspjela razmazati... ali, sve u svemu, ovo baš izgleda slatko. Hoćete li se složiti sa mnom?

So, this week's theme is Christmas Tree. For a years I was admired to great white trees that you can see in some malls... one year I decided that I want my Christmas Tree to look just like that... but guess what - I didn't like it. White, blue and silver are cold colors, and I like Christmas because of all the red, green and gold that look so warm and comfortable. But, I bet it won't look that bad on nails.

Dakle, ovotjedna tema je Božićno drvce. Godinama sam se divila bijelim stablima koje možete vidjeti u nekim trgovačkim centrima... i jedne godine odlučila da moje Božićno drvce mora izgledati baš tako... ali znate što - nije mi se svidjelo. Bijela, srebrna i plava su hladne boje i nikako mi ne idu uz Božić za kojeg ipak vežem crvenu, zelenu i zlatnu koje su ipak puno toplije i ugodnije. Ali, na noktima ne bi trebalo izgledati tako loše.

I used China Glaze 'skyscraper' and 'snow' with Avon 'silver foil' and essence 'crack me! white' which I applied with sponge on base of some of my nails. I like how this looks, how about you?

Koristila sam China Glaze lakove 'skyscraper' i 'snow', te Avonov 'silver foil' i essence 'crack me! white' koji sam nanijela spužvom na bazu nekih noktiju. Sviđa mi se kako izgleda manikura, a Vama?

Glitter gradient

New manicure ahead, but be warned, it's blinding .
Nova manikura na vidiku, ali čuvajte se, totalni je bling-bling .

I started with two coats of Essence 'can't cheat on me', then I added one by one, these three glitter polishes. The darkest is blue glitter in jelly blue base, the second is blue glitter in sheer base, and the last one is silver glitter, also in sheer base. My camera didn't behave this time, I just couldn't capture all shining and sparkling on my nails, this manicure is almost too hard to look at it .

I got these glitter gorgeousness from Born Pretty Store. The darkest shade is in a bottle of 10 ml, the rest of them is 5 ml. These polishes are Toluene and Formaldehyde free. Inside is striping brush which makes them great for nail art. I'm sure you'll see them on my nails few more times.

They do smell a bit. As for drying time, they could be drying faster but with speed dry topcoat you can easily solve that problem. And they really look spectacular!

Počela sam s dva sloja Essence 'can't cheat on me', a onda dodavala jedan po jedan, ova tri glittera. Najtamniji sadrži plavi glitter u plavoj jelly bazi, drugi se sastoji od nešto svjetlijeg glittera u prozirnoj bazi, a treći je srebrni glitter, također u prozirnoj bazi. Moj aparat nije mogao uhvatiti svo blještavilo ove manikure, gotovo da je teško iti gledati je .

Blještavi lakići su stigli od Born Pretty Store-a. Najtamniji je u bočici od 10 ml, ostala dva u bočicama od 5 ml. Lakovi su bez Toluena i Formaldehida. Unutra je striping četkica, što je super za nail art. Sigurno ih budete vidjeli još koji put na mojim noktima.

Imaju nešto jači miris. Što se sušenja tiče, mogli bi se sušiti i brže, ali taj problem vrlo lako riješi bilo kakav brzosušeći nadlak. A izgledaju zbilja spektakularno!

Here's one of those polishes who's being waiting from last summer... poor little polish, all forgotten .  Luckily, he wasn't alone . He's name is Depend, Depend 041.

Evo jednog od lakića koji čeka čak od prošlog ljeta... jadničak mali, tako zaboravljen . Srećom, nije bio sam . Njegovo je ime Depend, Depend 041.

On pics I'm wearing three coats, no topcoat. The formula is kinda watery, first coat is super transparent... I can't even imagine how many layers would need someone with long nails. The brush is ok, color is great - deep blue with tons of shimmer in it, drying time... I'm not sure about it, maybe it's this polish, maybe it's my new topcoat. I'm wearing it for a few hours and already having visible  tipwear . In this case, I'm glad that polish is in tiny bottle of only 5 ml. Don't get me wrong, it's not that bad, I really love the color, but I just expected more. 

My best friend is having a birthday today, so, instead of buying her roses, I'm wearing them on my nails . 

Na fotkama imam tri sloja, bez nadlaka. Formula je vodenasta, prvi sloj razočaravajuće proziran... ne mogu niti zamisliti koliko bi slojeva trebao netko s iole duljim noktima. Četkica je ok, boja mi je super - modra s tonom shimmera, vrijeme sušenja... za ovo nisam sigurna, ne znam jel' do laka ili novog nadlaka. Nosim ga tek par sati a već imam izlizane vrhove . U ovom slučaju mi uopće nije žao što je lak u sićušnoj bočici od 5 ml. Nije on baš tako loš, bojica mi je super, ali sam jednostavno očekivala više.

Moja najbolja frendica ima rođendan danas, pa umjesto da joj kupim ruže, nosit ću ih na noktima .

This silver acrylic paint is such a disappointment,it's weakly pigmented so you have to do every stroke at least twice. That's my excuse for bad performance . 

Anyway, Zdravka happy birthday... and thanks for sticking with me for more than 20 years .

Srebrna akrilna bojica je strava loša, tako je slabo pigmentirana da morate svaki potez ponavljati barem dva puta. Eto isprike za lošu izvedbu .

Nego, Zdravka sretan ti rođendan... i hvala što si sa mnom već dulje od 20 godina .
