13. Loooovee

So my boyfriend, Keith, came on Monday and brought over nail polish that his mom bought for me! They were both Nicole by OPI. One was a blue heart glitter called Honey-Dew You Love Me? The other is a purple/pink with hidden shimmer called I Have a Plumb Thumb. They're both really pretty! I put on I Have a Plumb Thumb, but I didn't have much time to paint my nails so I skipped the base coat & top coat. I really love this color though, I've had it on for a couple of days, even though my application was crappy I still don't want to take it off. Here it is:

I like the formula of the polish, it was very easy to apply. The brush was good too, not problems with it. This was 2 coats.

Haul, Tutorial

I went to Bed, Bath, & Beyond after work on Friday. I haven't been there since they added nail polish (or was it always there?) but anyways here is what I got:

Essie - Turquoise & Caicos, Color Club - Take me to Your Chateau, Color Club - Fashion Addict, Art Club - Silver Glitter.

I really wanted CC - Take me to Your Chateau after seeing Chanel's Spring 2010 promo pics. I will probably use it next! I also wanted Art Club - Silver Glitter because UW Football season is coming up and my old silver glitter ran out last season :(

This week Polish Hoarder Disorder's had a challenge called Color Accent. This was my entry:

I wanted to do a tutorial on how I did this, just in case anyone was wondering :)

  1. Paint all of your nails with China Glaze - Recycle
  2. While the middle finger is still wet use 4 small pink rhinestones and make a square. I used the pointy end of an orange stick dipped in top coat to pick up the rhinestones.
  3. Use big clear (white, what would you call them?) rhinstones and outline the smaller ones.
  4. Paint the tips of your pointer and ring finger with Sinful Colors - I Miss You.
  5. Cover the french tip line with the same pink rhinestones you used for the middle finger, while I Miss You is still wet.
  6. Paint over China Glaze - Recycle with Sinful Colors - I Miss You on the thumb and pinky.
  7. Cover all fingers with Top Coat & make sure to use a lot over the rhinestones so they don't fall!

These are the things I used:
