TNCC: Tea Party Themed Nails Look #1

Good evening my good people, how is your Sunday treating you? As I type this up from my bed I hear thunder rolling so rain is near, I live in Florida so I am glad for the break from a possible heat stroke lol.

This is my first post of the August voted Tea Party nails from The Nail Challenge Collaborative group. I am really challenging myself this month because I have no clue what to do for a nail design. Thank the internet for being able to Google ideas and big ups to Pinterest lol.

For my base color, I am wearing a Rimmel London Rita Ora LE polish called "Lose Your Lingerie".

Breakfast In Bed with Rita Ora

Hi everyone, my Monday went so fast at work by the time I stopped to look at the clock it was 3:30 (fine by me)!!

Over the weekend I spotted these polishes at Walmart for $1.50, they're Rita Ora's limited edition polishes done by Rimmel London. On my nails is the minty fresh color by the name of "Breakfast in Bed". This is 3 coats, no topcoat. The formula is average, not thick and not runny, applies smooth no streaks.

Sherbet is such a sweetheart

HAPPY FRIDAY!!

Idk this has just been a meh week for me in regards to my blogging vibes.... I'm glad this week is coming to an end. I plan on having a relaxing weekend. It's been raining everyday so if it does this weekend I'm going to enjoy it.

On my nails today is the another from Rimmel London's Sweetie Crush collection. This one is a lemony color called "Sherbert Sweetheart". This is is 3 coats of it. The formula is friendly, I'm just not a huge fan of these minis with the short brush.

Have a great weekend...

Matted Sprinkles

Good morning all and how was your Monday? My Monday wasn't bad at all, I can say I had a productive day.

On my nails today consists of 2 untried polishes (I am on the road to success with my untried stash). The coral colored polish which is on my index and middle finger is called "Instyle Coral", it is from Rimmel's "Festival Colour" 2014 collection sold at Walgreens for $1.69. This is really pretty in person and is opaque in 3 coats for me. I love to wear this color in the spring and summer, as matter of fact I like to break fashion rules; I wear any color for any season. This is 3 coats w/o a top coat.

The glitter polish on my other two fingers is a polish I got from Rue 21-- I swear every time I go there, some polishes manage to catch my eye and I have to have it. This line is called Candy Confetti and guess what.... it doesn't have a cool name (womp womp). I know many of you have seen this glitter mix made by many other brands, but I happen to like this mix; it's fun to me. For this polish I've applied 3 coats, the formula is average and friendly, it doesn't streak.

Lastly, I've chosen to mattify this mani using OPI's Matte top coat. I was curious to see if I would like it and that I did.
Which style do you prefer? Glossy or Matte for this look?

Awesome Fizzy Applelicious

Good morning folks.... my week has been so bleh, I've been fighting off a cold I am 100% sure I caught from my niece or nephew last weekend. I think i'm doing well in stopping it from getting worse, it goes to show that just because you take vitamins; it doesn't mean you won't get sick. I was determined not to wallow in bed (well maybe this weekend I will).

Today on my nails I am wearing another polish from the Rimmel London "Sweetie Crush" line, it is another collection of spring colored textured polishes. Today I am wearing a green apple colored polish called "Fizzy Applelicious". The formula for these polishes apply really well, it's not a thin or thick formula and is opaque in two coats.

On my accent nail I am wearing a glitter polish from NOPI called "Be awesome", they are iridescent diamond shaped glitters; the brush actually picks up a lot of the glitters easily.

Enjoy your day people.....

Sweet Crush Roughles

Good morning polish peeps. If you haven't noticed, we are one day closer to Friday (hey, any kind of motivation helps :).

On my nails today I have two textured polishes, recently released in stores. First, I'm wearing NOPI Roughles textured polish which has just released in stores, specifically Kmart. I spotted them last weekend after getting a tip from Jessica over at BE HAPPY BUY POLISH. I love the entire collection. Today I'm wearing "Rock the look", it's a pink strawberry smoothie looking formula (please don't drink this polish lol). Its application is very smooth to me, I had no issue applying this polish. I've applied just two coats of it.

The second textured polish I'm wearing is another newly released polish by Rimmel London's limited edition "Sweetie Crush" collection. There are 5 colors for this set & at Kmart they are priced for $2.29. This formula is a pink shimmery textured formula and is a easy apply. I've only applied two coats, it's called "Candyfloss Cutie".

I know you might be asking if I don't think it's too much pink.... Uhhhhhhhh nope, this is how I like it :).

I present to you, my current situation.....
