OPI Color Paints

Hi my beauties!! I know I haven't been posting lately to this blog but it's with good reason, I've been very active on my YouTube channel. What's up y'all.... More importantly TGIF!! Am I the only one who stalks the calendar to see when is the next holiday, so I'll know when I'll have a 3 day weekend? Yes it does get that serious sometimes :).

This post has been in my drafts all week and naturally I forgot to set it for scheduling. I wore this one day last week when I was in the mood for some water marbling, The yellow is by OPI and its called "I Just Can't Copa-cabana.

The Mr. and I celebrated our 4th year anniversary together as a couple on Tuesday. We decided to celebrate it tonight so you all can look forward to that post tomorrow :).

TNCC Animal Look 2

Hey everyone, were you off today like I am?! I'm sorry if you weren't, but I take advantage of every off day I can get. I took advantage of doing so swatches, water marbeling video (check me out on the Tube) and QT with the fam.

So here I am my second look of the month for The Nail Challenge Collaborative animals theme month. I chose to design cow nails (yeah yeah yeah easy I know)!!

Dupes my bad- OPI vs. Sinful Colors

Hey y'all, it's Monday (I know right, already)! So I've been meaning to post this. I just got the SC polish Flower Power and I knew it reminded me of another pink lacquer-glitter formula. 

Sinful Colors "Flower Power" & OPI "The Power of Pink" (from the Breast Cancer Awareness duo of 2014) is the same formula.... This is 3 coats of both, no top coat. I actually find that the SC one applies thicker than OPI.

What do you think, dupe or nope?

Hello bloggerverse, how goes it? How did your weekend go, mine went.....quickly lol! Don't worry another one is on its way (that's what I tell myself to get through the day anyway).

So I am going to show y'all what I've had on my nails since Saturday (which doesn't happen often for me). As my base color I am using Julie G polish "Balck Sheep" and my gold flakies is OPI "The Man with the golden gun" topper. I chose to matte it cause I was in a rush and it worked out great for me.

I found that the brush didn't pick up the flakies in abundance as desired :/. 

Do you own either one of these? If so, how do you like them?

The Nail Challenge Collaborative January Look 1

Hey everyone! I am here today to share with you all my first look to TNCC Theme for Wallpaper Nails this month! I was on the fence while voting for the theme, but this one seemed the more fun choice!

I dabbled with stamping this go around while using OPI's "A-Taupe The Space Needle" and a butterfly stamp, I see vintage wallpaper when I look at this (hippies too) lol.

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Look 3

Rise and shine lacquer loves, don't beat me up for being chipper and up early lol I just can't sleep late.

For my 3rd look for TNCC dots theme  I wanted to do something different. So what I've done this time around is some textured dots. I've used two liquid sand polishes by OPI. The gold one is called Honey Ryder and the red one is called Magazine Cover Mouse, check it out....

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Look 2

Hey everyone, has your countdown to Christmas begun or did it start December 1st? I know I'm counting down the days for this to be over cause I am not so gung ho this holiday.

Anyhoo, this is my look #2 for The Nail Challenge Collaborative dots theme this month. I'm pissed because I thought I waited long enough to put the matte top coat on and obviously not so it streaked. Oh well I wasn't about to do it all over again. I decided to do some Christmas colored dots.

It's All SanAndreass Fault

What's up everybody!!

Hey people, I totally forgot I had this post in my draft file! I did have a lot going on yesterday so please forgive me, it's my fault!

This color is not a color you will find me wearing often, I got it in a B1G2F deal from the Smart Style salon in Walmart. This is 3 coats of a liquid sand textured polish by OPI called "It's all San Andreass Fault". I believe it's from the San Francisco collection (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Hey everyone, I'm back and in full force (no not the singing group y'all) lol! I mean health wise, I know I told you last week I had a cold. Thank heavens I am back to me cause when I am sick I feel like I'm somebody else (in the midst of wishing someone else had it lol).

But back to business here is my look número uno for the theme of dots for the month! By the way did I tell you all it's my birthday month (New Years eve to be exact)!!! Party time I know right!!

I used WnW "Lavender Creme" and OPI neon "Do you have this color in Stockholm".

Pool Boy Blings

*Waves*, wouldn't you know that comes December I get the flu!! It never fails, I either get sick before my birthday or right after! I thought I was doing so good not being sick this year after being sick in January!! At least I'm sick now and not on my birthday right!

I've been wearing this polish by OCC "Pool Boy" since Wednesday. I added some heavy blingage which is OPI's "I've reached my Gold" (notice how it resembles OPI's When Monkey's Fly).

Heart Throb

*Miss America wave* Hi all, say word, two posts in one day!!

This is old news however, I wore this polish yesterday and forgot to post. I'm doing it now though, check out OPI's "Heart Throb". This is 3 coats and a top coat. the first layer is somewhat sheer so I feel it needs two more coats to satisfy my opaque needs lol.

On my nails today I'm wearing a duo that's sold in a pack, you can find this pack at your local Ulta, your local nail supply place or hair salons like Regis. I got this at the hair salon in my local mall. This pack is the Pink of Hearts 2014 Breast Cancer Awareness polish set, sold for $16.95. I know it seems a bit pricey but because it's for a good cause, I don't mind paying it. This pink polish is called Mod About you, the glitter lacquer formula is called The Power of Pink.

TNCC Geometric Nails Look #1

Hi everyone, how was your weekend from this short work week? I was grateful for having Monday off and that making it a short work week, it actually went by so fast I had to check what day it was on Thursday. 

It's 8:00 here and I jumped out of bed in a hurry because I wanted to post my group geometric themed nails today so here they are :).....

Dupes, my bad- Yellow Textured polish

Hi peeps!! Happy Friday Eve lol! I did a quick comparison here of two textured polishes. 

The OPI one is called You're so flippy floppy & Sinful Colors Face the Facets. I think they're not a dupe, the SC one is much brighter while the OPI is dull, what do you think? This is 3 coats of both.

Push & Pur Pull

Good morning peeps!!

I am so not with it today, I am majorly suffering from sinusitis and pressure. I am desperately going to try to get some relief today from antibiotics, I am mainly experiencing pressure in the bridge of my nose and behind my eyes when I move my eyeballs around quickly.

I managed to do my nails last night in a fairly lit room. I am wearing a purple neon polish from OPI's "Little Bits of Neon" collection, this one is "Push & Pur Pull". The pink polish is also by OPI and it's called "Feeling Hot Hot Hot".

Friday Kisses with some Cola

Hey everyone and happy Friday, I've had a long week even with a day off on Wednesday, how has your week been?

I'm so happy it's Friday you just don't know. I've been waking up at midnight for no good reason, the good thing is I go back to sleep quickly without tossing or turning. On my nails today I have some nail stickers I got from Beall's Outlet a few months back from the clearance aisle. The original price on these were marked as 3.99 but it was marked $1.99 then I got 30%off with my discount card woo hoo right!! 

I like these because they are made on a sheet instead of the single stickers like the Sally Hansen salon effects, those tend to dry out once you open the packet. 

The red polish I'm wearing is from the OPI Coca Cola collection, it's called Coca Cola Red.
