Weigh In Wednesday: Favorite Beer, Ale or Cider

Ahhhhh.....March 17th, a day I once looked foward to in my younger years. It is a day for anyone Irish (or Irish by association) to have an excuse to enjoy food they wouldn't eat on a daily basis (yummy corned beef and cabbage) and consume ridiculous amounts of green beer!!

In honor of St. Patrick's Day and massive amounts of beer drinking going on in the world today, share with us your favorite kind of beer, ale or hard cider. Even if you aren't a beer drinker, what kind of beer have you found best to cook with if a recipe calls for it? What is your significant other's favorite?
