Magnolia Leaves - Teri Casper

This is another sketch from our trip to Indiana.

While we were waiting for friends to go to dinner I saw this tree with these huge leaves so I sketched them and the seed pod.

My friend said it was a Magnolia tree but couldn't remember what species.

I edited this to correct the width of the photo.

Indiana Geese - Teri Casper

We took a road trip through Illinois and into Indiana.

We stopped for lunch at a park in Terre Haute, Indiana along the Wabash river.

These geese insisted that I paint them!

So I did!
