Robin in the garden - A reported painting

From now on I would like to try, without artistic pretensions, to give an explanation to my painting. Not a cool thing about the technique but, perhaps more simply, to tell the creative drive that leads to choose a subject and a given environment.
This first case is very simple: I live in a place where the robin comes only through the winter and where, thanks to a feeder, stay there all season... Snow and colors of the garden, a combination that is repeated every year.
