Time Out Challenges Reminder!

HI friends!
I'm here with my DT card for the current challenge at Time Out where we challenge you to be Fashionable!

This challenge is sponsored by STAMPlorations. All challenge details, info about the prize and fabulous DT inspiration in our challenge blog HERE! Also remember to leave some love to our talented guest designer Jenny Martin

At first I had no idea what stamps or dies to grab for this challenge but then I came to think of making a card with something that is in fashion at the moment. I know that in home decor bold black and gold wall papers are very in... And in clothes big floral prints have been everywhere... So I chose this Chocolate Baroque background stamp and heat embossed it with gold on black card for a pretty dramatic card front! I cropped the image to show some white card base and  added a large Winnie and Walter die cut sentiment. That's all there is to this card! It came together very quickly but this wasn't the first version... This one I ended up liking. :) I hope you like it too! Thanks for popping by!

New Challenge at Less Is More!

HI friends!

I'm here with a short and sweet post for Less Is More (we go live in 5 mins so better keep this short lol!) to promote our new challenge 'Use Small Images'. We hope to see images less than 2 inches of diameter in your cards! My Chocolate Baroque squares (a magazine freebie some years ago) is about 1,5 inch. I did some repetitive stamping and colored the images with Copics and gel pens. The sentiment is by Concord and 9th. Hope you like!

Please visit our challenge post for more DT inspiration and all the challenge details. We are sponsored by Skull and Cross Buns! Happy Crafting!

New Challenge at Inkspirational!

Hi guys!
We have a new challenge for you at Inkspirational and this time it's a super fun one for me because I've got to choose the topic, yay! I chose

"Use 5 or more stamps"

When you look at my card you might be all "What?!? Where are all the five stamps?!?" I wanted to create a subtle background stamping with several background stamps -well 3 this time to be exact- and used a very light blue ink for this. This kind of stamping gives a wonderful airy look and adds a lot of interest to the eye when you try to catch the light, faded patterns and images from the background.

My Hero Arts butterfly is colored in with Copics and I added some white gel pen too. I love this stamp-die set, so beautiful. Sentiment is by Chocolate Baroque. I hope you like my card and I hope to see you playing along at Inkspirational!

Close up: The background consists of stamping with 3 background stamps: a grid stamp (Kaiserkraft) , a "tile" stamp (Stamping Up) and a dotty, mixed media-sort of background stamp (Prima)

Using Designer Paper CAS Style

Hi friends!
The first card of this post is for for the latest Less Is More Challenge: Designer paper. My second card has designer paper too but it isn't so very less is more... I do however hope it will qualify for CAS Mix Up May Challenge! I used spray mists as my third element.

In the first card I cut a strip of brown patterned paper and heat embossed Chocolate Baroque flowers on it with white powder. The card base is dry embossed for added interest. A Finnish sentiment finishes up the card.

The second card features flower and leaf stamps by My Favorite Things + a Simon Says Stamp sentiment. The background is stamped with small Prima background stamps and also misted with green ink mists. Some drops and a punched leaf to finish it up. I'll call this collage CAS. ;)

Hope you like, thanks for popping by!
