Superman's legendary first team-up with Batman Beyond was a landmark moment for the show and character, but not so much in the tie-in comic. I look at both this week at CBR.

Superman: The Animated Series and the Phantom Sequel I Imagined

Okay, I was for some reason under the impression the Superman: The Animated Series episode "Fathers' Day" had an intended sequel that later appeared as an issue of Superman Adventures, written by Mark Evanier. And, after beginning work on the article, could find no evidence whatsoever to support this. But, it turns out there is an Adventures issue relating to Superman and fathers, so a match was ultimately made. And you can read about it here at CBR...

The 100th Adventure(s) Time!

This week at CBR is the100th official installment of Adventure(s) Time! (I've done "specials" that I didn't count towards the total because they didn't strictly fit the format...this is the one hundredth comics/cartoon comparison.) More from Superman: The Animated Series on CBR

I look back on the most Clark-centric episode of Superman: The Animated Series, along with an issue of Superman Adventures that also turned the focus to Clark. If you have any suggestions for future installments, just let me know.

Adventure(s) Time - Supergirl's Non-Gooey Animated Debut

In case you missed it, my latest installment of Adventure(s) Time focuses on Supergirl's debut in the DC Animated Universe, some of the behind-the-scenes issues it presented, and how the Superman Adventures comic completed the character arc that was cut from the show.

Adventure(s) Time Moves out of Gotham City

You can read the latest installment of Adventure(s) Time by clicking here.  I examine what some people view as the weakest episode of Superman: The Animated Series, and the issue of Superman Adventures that utilized a similar concept years before the episode aired.

Also, I broach this subject...
