The Flowerz - Flyte (1967/68)

Band bio (amg)
This includes both sides of their 1968 singles, plus an unreleased cut, surrounded by no less than 16 cover versions from a 1968 tape. This tape was used for an unusual teen dance at which it was played through the PA system in sync with the band's live performance; sort of a concert demonstration of double-tracking, intended to double the impact of their show...more at X.

From Reading, Pennsylvania. Previously known as the Marauders, they became the Flowerz when Stout was added and Tucci replaced Danny Bausher. Now you can read their whole story and enjoy their soundz on Erik Lindgren's CD - issued as part of a quartet on the region, with Pat Farrell & The Believers and two volumes of Eastern Pa. Rock making up the set. This CD features twenty-two tracks recorded especially by the band as a 'backing soundtrack' over which they would play or sync at a live performance in Reading on February 16th 1968.
