Whipper Snapper Designs New Release

This month Anna Wight has released the sweetest new stamps over at Whipper Snapper Designs.  It has been a pleasure and a huge honor to have been a guest designer.. Here are a few of the cards that I designed for March and April.  I love WSD and of course Anna Wight..Thanks so much for choosing me as a guest designer

This card is from the newly released Garden of Friendship.  I just love the sweet little gardener with her pots of flowers and all the extras that come with this set.

This next set is right up my alley. This set is called Garden Fresh. I love to can in the summer time.  Last summer my daughter and I made strawberry jam.  We had little jars like these.. I used the strawberry stamp in this set to create a background for my card.  I stamped on Kraft paper and colored with Prisma Pencils and Goo Gone.  I did some stitching and distressing for a country look.

Last but certainly not least is a set called Recipe Card Companion. It coordinates with the Recipe Card Stamp. SO MANY possibilities here.  I chose to create a card with my recipe attached.  The paper is digi paper that is free from Squigglefly.  I printed it out on Kraft paper.  I found this doggy treat recipe.  Thanks so much to Anna and Whipper Snapper Designs.  Now head over there and get your sets today.  Here is the rest of the samples for you to check out:

In The Dog House

A few weeks ago the Teapot Tuesday challenge over on Splitcoaststampers 

was to create a dog card for a police officer that was injured in the line of duty.  I chose this adorable stamp from Whipper Snapper Designs as my dog image. The image is called Dog Pile.  It felt great to use an unloved, uninked stamp.  Colored with copics and prisma pencils. The dog house template is from Whimsie Doodles. 

 

What a gorgeous weekend it was here.  In the 60's all weekend and not a cloud in the sky.  Hope the sun is shining where ever you may be.  

Pumpkin Cowgirl

I created this for several challenges today. It is always great to combine challenges on one card. This week on our Twisted Sister's challenge we were to pick a card of another Sistah and recreate it. I picked one created by Pat Smethers. Mine looks nothing like hers but I chose the western them. Second challenge was the Ways To Use it "sand it". Julia is sad that the end of summer and beach "sand" is near. I used a sanding block around the edges and on the background.

Lastly, have you seen the DT call over on the Saturday Spotlight With Hidden Potential Blog. Go check it out. Vicki is looking for some Spotlight Divas. All you have to do is create a card and email it to her using one of the past 30 Hidden Potential challenges. She has a Saturday Challenge and it really makes you think outside the box.

Witching You A Happy Day

I created this card for a SCS challenge a few weeks ago. You were to use the faux grid technique. Just stamp your images and then draw around them with your grid lines. This adorable little witch is from Whipper Snapper Designs. I used a SU Rub-On for the sentiment. I love them. Hope your day is great.

Whipper Snapper Heather

I wanted to stamp just for fun today. I love this sweet little Heather image from Whipper Snapper Designs. She is so cute. I colored her first with copics and then added some prisma pencils. This sweet daisy is from Martha Stewart that my sweet friend Marilynn sent to me. I thought it matched the paper perfectly. I created this for Mothermark's teapot Tuesday challenge. Today is the kick off for the Dare To Get Dirty with the Splitcoaststamper's Dirty girls. Jen challenged us to make a card with a tag. I also created this for a friendly little challenge with some Twisted Sisters. This week's challenge was to make a food related card with ribbon, punch, dots, scallops and it had to be orange. I think I got all but the dots covered. Come join the fun over at SCS....

Christmas In July

Today's Way's to use it challenge on Splitcoaststampers was to create a Christmas card in July. As I was coloring this image my son peeked over my shoulder and said "Why are you coloring Santa when it is summer time?" I told him you never know when Santa might be watching. He has since then cleaned his room and taken a shower without his usual complaining. I think it worked...LOL.

Created this card with my Whipper Snapper dog stamp. I have used this stamp so many times. I cased a layout that my favorite WSD dt member used the other day.. Shellie is so creative and talented..

Luv Flowers

I created this for the Sketch Challenge on SCS. Roxie always has the best sketches. I love this Whipper Snapper Image. Isn't she cute. I used my cb border folder with love... I have had it for awhile and wanted to use it with this sketch.

Strawberries

Yesterday Jenn hosted the color challenge. I was stumped but the Summer Sun and RHR reminded me of strawberries so off I went. Love this Whipper Snapper image. He just makes me smile. I made the strawberry and filled it with a kiss. You can get the pattern and tutorial here. Colored my strawberries ( stamp is from Firecracker Designs) with GooGone and Prismapencils on Kraft paper. Fun colors.

Easter Hugs

Sorry for the dark picture. We have had TONS of rain this weekend and today. We really need it so I am thankful. I used this adorable RAK image from my super friend Grace. Colored with GooGone and pencils. I made this for the TLC on SCS. To make a ribbon frame. Hope your day is sunny...

Whipper Snapper Sheep

I am having so much fun using all my whimsical stamps. I got this awesome rolled flower from my sweet friend MariLynn. She sent me a little bag of them. They are so cute. I had seen another friend add pearls to her sheep so I CASED hers. Love this image. So fun. I had a hard time tying that ribbon so the words would show. LOL.

Happy Birthday Bubba

My friend just got a new puppy. He is so cute. I am sending her this card with a few dog images. She feels like a brand new mamma.. Colored with GooGone and PrismaPencils. Added a newspaper flower. All dogs like newspapers. Have a great night...Our warm weather is no longer. It was 81 today..

Whipper Snapper Mouse

I have so many birthdays this month. I need to get going on cards. I colored this image last night and then used it for the sketch today on SCS. I love the sketch challenge but I have such a hard time with all that cutting. I received this image as an RAK. I love doing that. Everyone is always so willing to share. I colored the cupcake with choc chip marker and added glaze to it. Then punched out my flowers. Gives it a super look IRL.

Snow Day

Bubble Bath

I love this image. My favorite thing to do on a cold winter night is to take a hot bubble bath. It just calms me and warms me up. This is for the FS on Splitcoast. Lori Crag is a great stamper. I love her style. Stay warm....
