It is time for Flourishes Noon Time Challenge.. We want to see your PURPLE.  This challenge is perfect for the soon to be released Hydrangea set.

I created a tall skinny card for this challenge and there is lots of purple going on here.  I stamped my Hydrangea out onto Flourishes Classic White Cardstock.  I then colored it with the following Flourishes Copics Collections:

I chose this pretty Romantic Rectangles  by Spellbinder's die for my card.  I love its intricate details.  It is on sale over at Flourishes today.  15% off just use the code SPRINGCLEAN.

Flourishes April New Release Day 2

Welcome to the second day of Flourishes April Release.

Today we are introducing our second set that coordinates with our Tailor Made Classic Bookplate Die from last month.

Botanical Book Plates Vol 2NWM_edited-1

I created a lattice card for my second Flourishes New Release set called Botanical Book Plates Volume 2.  This set coordinates with the Tailor- Made Classic Bookplate Die that was release last month..

I stamped the florals in this set on a piece of Flourishes Classic White Cardstock.  Then I colored with Flourishes Copics Collection:

I then created my lattice and added the Kaiser- Miss Nelly Jewels.  My card base is the Spellbinders Grand Label 23 die and I cut it and my Tailor Made die out using my Grand Calibur

There is a mystery blogger somewhere within the design team so be sure to leave a comment so that you have a chance to win this set..

It is time for a Friday Free For All at Flourishes.. Today we are showing off some of the newly released sets. This is just a quick card I whipped up while my daughter is here visiting for spring break.

Magnoliax

This card has lots of Flourishes goodies on it.. I stamped my Magnolias onto Flourishes Classic White Cardstock.  Then I colored with Flourishes Copics Collection:

I cut my magnolias out with my Grand Calibur using the Classic Square Dies.   I added some of the gorgeous White Scalloped Lace Trim Flourishes has in the store now.  I also created a bow with the Satin Finish Baby Pink ribbon.  I also added a Pink Pearl Swirl.
The designer paper at the bottom is the MME Blush collection.  I also used one of the new embossing folders Flourishes has in stock. It is called Diamond Shadows

Don't forget about the New Bundle Release. The last day to purchase the bundle with a discount is today..

I also have this set to give away.. SO leave me a comment below for a chance to win. I will pick a winner on Monday morning.

Magnolias

Do you ever see a stamp set and instantly fall in love with it.  This is just that set for me.  Our first home had a big Magnolia tree in the front yard.  I have pictures of my girls sitting under it when they were just little bits of things.  I LOVE this set and you will too.

Magnolias

I stamped my Magnolias out twice onto Flourishes Classic White Cardstock and cut out the second one and popped it up over the first.  I love the depth it gives.  I used the Mind's Eyes Blush designer paper.

Magnolias1

I then cut it out with my Grand Calibur and Spellbinders Label Six. I chose the Flourishes Copics Collections:

A few weeks ago Cindy Lawrence showed us how to use these fun little embellishments.  They are called Candi Solid-Icing Sugar and you can customize your colors..Check out Cindy's tutorial HERE...

Magnolias2

I also added some of this pretty Taupe Scalloped Lace.

Flourishes Friday

It is time for a Flourishes Friday post. This week I have 2 cards for you. They are polar opposites from each other. The first card I am featuring today is the Flourishes Irish Blessings set.

Best of Luck

I colored this image with Flourishes Copics Collections:

I stamped the image out onto Flourishes Classic White Cardstock.  I used my Grand Calibur to cut  out my Classic Oval Die.  I added some crocheted lace and a little flower.

Beach Life

My second card is for Teapot Tuesday over at Splitcoaststampers. This is one of my favorite challenges.  I haven't played in so long.  Each week there is a teapot for inspiration and then they have a destination for the card.  It is a wonderful group of stampers.  This week the cards go to a SCS member that tragically lost her husband.  She wants to some day have a house on the beach.  So I pulled out Beach Life from Flourishes and got to watercoloring it.  I used my Grand Calibur again and the Labels 23 die.  I added some gingham ribbon and a few little pearl flourishes.  Simple card that took FOREVER to watercolor.
